June 3

– A resident in the 20000 block of U.S. Route 23 reported an unknown suspect stole checks, wrote them and cashed them. A report was taken on theft.

– An employee of South Central Power Company reported electric service had been disconnected at a residence on Hayesville Road in Kingston and was now reconnected. A report was taken on theft of utilities.

– A resident in the 5000 block of Dietrich Avenue, Orient, reported an unknown suspect used his personal information to open an account in Texas and charge several thousand dollars of merchandise. A report was taken on identity theft.

– A resident in the 7000 block of U.S. Route 22 East reported an unknown person stole an item from their house, which was later returned. A report was taken on burglary.

– A deputy responded to the report of a missing stop sign on Hagerty Road at U.S. Route 23. Representatives from ODOT arrived and placed a temporary sign until someone could arrive to replace the post.

– A deputy responded to a harassment complaint in the 1000 block of North Court Street, Circleville.

June 4

– A resident in the 500 block of Yates Street, Williamsport, reported an unknown person damaged his parked vehicle. A report was taken on criminal damaging.

– A resident in the 1300 block of South Pickaway Street reported known subjects were in his residence. They left, and the victim declined to press charges. A report was taken on burglary.

– A resident in the 10000 block of state Route 762, Lockbourne, reported an unknown person stole checks and was cashing them. She closed the account, and a report was taken on theft and forgery.

– A caller reported an unknown person dumped trash containers along the side of the roadway in the 24000 block of Canal Road. A report was taken on trash dumping.

– A resident in the 3000 block of St. Paul Road, Ashville, reported an unknown subject stole a necklace from her residence. A report was taken on theft.

– A resident in the 90 block of Main Street, Tarlton, reported someone was taking scrap from inside a vacant house. A report was taken on criminal trespassing.

– A resident in the 2000 block of Arapaho Drive reported an assault, but no charges were filed.

– Chad E. Ingles, 43, of London, was arrested for a probation violation in the 16000 block of Main Street, Williamsport, after a caller reported harassment. He was found to be intoxicated and on probation.

– A deputy responded to reports of a driver consuming alcohol in the 25600 block of U.S. Route 23, Circleville. Contact was made with the subject, and the deputy administered the Horizontal Gaze Nystagmus test. The subject displayed no clues of Nystagmus, and no evidence of an alcoholic beverage was found.

– A deputy responded to a complaint on a person in the 6000 block of state Route 56 East.

– A deputy responded to reports of a domestic dispute in the 2800 block of North Court Street, Circleville. Both parties were contacted, and the deputy determined no assault occurred.

– A deputy responded to a complaint on property in the 9900 block of Shepherd Road, Lockbourne. The property was released to its owner.

– A deputy responded to a drug complaint in the 1400 block of South Court Street. Contact was made with the subject, but there were no drugs found and no sign of drug use.

– A deputy responded to reports of an intoxicated person in the 16000 block of Main Street, Darbyville.

– An unknown driver struck a mailbox on Puthuff Avenue and left the scene. A report was taken on a property damage hit-skip accident.

– Stanley Terrill, 60, of Doylestown, was driving a semi truck on Reynolds Road when he struck a parked semi. A report was taken on a private property accident.

June 5

– A resident in the 5000 block of Steven Drive, Orient, reported an unknown person punctured both her right front and right rear vehicle tires. A report was taken on criminal damaging.

– A resident in the 24000 block of state Route 207, New Holland, reported her ex-boyfriend had been calling her, and she does not want him to call. A report was taken on telephone harassment.

– A caller reported unknown subjects destroyed flowers and decorations on four different graves at the Muhlenburg Township Cemetery in Darbyville. A report was taken on vandalism.

– Sheresa G. Colley, 32, of Orient, was arrested for domestic violence and assault in the 7000 block of Mound Street, Orient, after deputies responded to reports of an assault between a girlfriend and boyfriend.

– A deputy was called to the Pickaway County Sheriff’s Office to take a complaint on a person in the 10000 block of Randle Road, Williamsport.

– A deputy responded to an activated alarm in the 7000 block of Main Street, Orient. The scene checked OK.

– A deputy responded to a complaint on a person in the 30000 block of Tarlton Adelphi Road, Laurelville. The subjects left the area prior to the deputy’s arrival, and the vehicle could not be located.

– A deputy responded with the New Holland Fire Department to reports of a structure fire in the 200 block of N. Main St., New Holland. The fire was extinguished by the homeowner and cleared by the fire department.

– A deputy responded to a complaint on a vehicle with expired tags on Chippewa Drive at Pawnee Drive, Circleville. Fletcher’s Towing was contacted and removed the vehicle.

– A deputy responded to a juvenile complaint in the 500 block of Victory Street, Williamsport. A subject was transported to the hospital by Williamsport EMS.

– A deputy responded to a complaint on a person in the 100 block of Grove Run Road, Commercial Point.

– Katie Brown, 19, of Chillicothe, struck the rear of a vehicle driven by Jed Combs, 23, of Circleville, on Kingston Pike.

– Susan Frazier, 56, of Circleville, struck a parked vehicle owned by Thomas Brown in the parking lot at Walmart. A report was taken on a private property accident.

June 6

– Deputies responded to reports of a domestic dispute in the 11000 block of Gibson Road, Commercial Point. The deputy advised it was a verbal dispute between husband and wife. No charges were filed.

– Jeffrey L. Lawhun, 41, of Ashville, was arrested for theft at Walmart following a traffic stop of the suspect vehicle. Michaela L. Prince, 19, of Columbus, also was arrested on an active warrant from Fairfield County. The driver of the vehicle was issued a citation for driving under suspension.

– A resident in the 8000 block of Iroquois Way, Orient, reported unknown subjects pried open the doors of his shed and took several items. A report was taken on breaking and entering.

– A resident in the 16000 block of Walnut Creek Pike, Ashville, reported she was in an altercation with her 13-year-old son. No charges were filed.

– A resident in the 7000 block of Mound Street, Orient, reported an assault. She was referred to the city law director.

– A deputy responded to reports of an assault in the 13000 block of U.S. Route 62, Mt. Sterling. The deputy reported no sign of injury.

– A deputy responded to a complaint on a person on Hamilton Street, New Holland. The subject left the residence prior to his arrival.

– A deputy responded to a harassment complaint in the 200 block of South East Street, New Holland.

– A deputy responded to a domestic dispute in the 18000 block of Five Points Pike, Mt. Sterling.

– Kevin Skaggs, 38, of Ashville, struck a parked vehicle owned by Derrick Whited on state Route 104. A report was taken on a private property accident.

June 7

– Albert F. Milligan, 26, of Orient, was arrested for domestic violence and assault in the 8000 block of Iroquois Way, Orient, after a victim reported her live-in boyfriend hit her in the face.

– A resident in the 30 block of Henderson Lane, Ashville, reported her front license plate and bracket were missing from her vehicle. A report was taken on theft.

– A caller reported unknown subjects broke into Dawg Ugly on South Water Street, Williamsport, and stole a safe. A report was taken on breaking and entering.

– Gregory A. Carter, 28, Jack E. McGill, 52 and a 16-year-old juvenile were arrested for domestic violence after deputies responded to reports of an altercation in the 10000 block of state Route 762 East, Lockbourne.

– A deputy responded to the 11000 block of state Route 56 East, Circleville, on reports of a small juvenile who almost drowned. Tarlton Squad transported the subject to the hospital for observation.

– A deputy responded to an activated alarm in the 2000 block of McKinley Road, Orient. It was determined to be accidental.

– A deputy responded to complaints of loud music in the 10000 block of U.S. Route 62, Orient. The deputy arrived and sat in the area, but no noise was heard.

– A deputy performed a well-being check in the 300 block of South Water Street, Williamsport. The subject checked OK.

– A deputy responded to a complaint on a person in the 7000 block of Hagerty Road, Circleville.

– A deputy responded to an activated alarm in the 4000 block of U.S. Route 22 West. The scene checked OK.

– A deputy responded to a complaint on a person in the 10000 block of Scioto Darby Road, Orient.

June 8

– A caller reported subjects were in and out of Bubba’s Corner on U.S. Route 62 stealing items. Charges were filed, and the subjects will be summoned into court.

– A resident in the 5000 block of Tarlton Road reported he moved from the residence, and before coming back to pick up his personal property, it was taken. A report was taken on theft.

– A resident in the 100 block of West Front Street, New Holland, reported an unknown person stole a ladder from his property. A report was taken on theft.

– A resident in the 7000 block of Mound Street, Orient, reported someone had stolen prescription medication from the residence. A report was taken on theft.

– A deputy responded to a domestic dispute in the 9900 block of Shepherd Road, Lockbourne. Upon arrival, contact was made with both parties, who advised it was a verbal dispute.

– A deputy responded to a domestic dispute in the 28000 block of River Road, Circleville.

– A deputy responded to a harassment complaint in the 18000 block of state Route 104, Circleville.

– A deputy and the canine unit, Turpin, were requested to assist the Circleville Police Department on a vehicle stopped for a well-being check at Ohio Street and Kingston Pike.

– Christopher Wilson, 40, of Orient, was cited for failure to control when his vehicle went off the roadway on U.S. Route 62 and traveled through an embankment into a drainage ditch. No injuries were reported.

– Kathryn Pennington, 24, of Circleville, was cited for failure to control when she reportedly answered her cell phone and lost control of her vehicle on state Route 56, going off the roadway into a ditch and rolling the vehicle. Subjects were treated for injuries.

– Edwin Rausch, 54, of Columbus, advised he lost control of his vehicle on the ramp on U.S. Route 23 due to oil on the wet roadway. No injuries were reported.

– Jeremiah J. Johnson, 26, was arrested on the original charge of telephone harassment.

June 9

– Scott Bartholow, 20, of Circleville, was cited for failure to control when he lost control of his vehicle on Walnut Creek Pike and went into a ditch. No injuries were reported.
