Mildred M. Wolford, 94, of Circleville, passed away Sunday, June 7, 2015, in Chillicothe.

She was born Jan. 10, 1921, in Springfield, the daughter of Arthur Elmer and Lulu (Dunn) Rice.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Harold Raymond Wolford; sisters, Audrey Lucas and Barbara Ann Watson; and brothers, Bill, Carl, Earl, LaVerne and Walter Rice.

Mildred was an active member of the Circleville Church of Christ and was a caregiver for the elderly for many years. She was a very giving person and enjoyed sharing the harvest of her vegetable and flower gardens; serving Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners at St. Joseph Catholic Church; and she loved the Christmas season. She will be greatly missed by her many family members and friends.

Mildred is survived by her loving family, daughters, Karen Sue Wolford of Chillicothe and Barbara (Tim) Drum of Circleville; grandchildren, John (Lisa) Drum and Christina (Jared) Drum Moyer of Circleville; great-grandchildren, Landon and Alexis Drum and Lilly and Ava Moyer; sister, Thelma Gillen of Whitehouse; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday, June 11, 2015, at Defenbaugh-Wise-Schoedinger Funeral Home with Jack Abels officiating. Friends may call from from 4 p.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home on Thursday. A private burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
