– A resident came to the police station to report receiving a suspicious letter in the mail. A report was taken on a miscellaneous complaint. The resident later came back to the station to report receiving another letter she thought could be connected to the first. No report was taken, and no threats were made.

– A 911 caller reportedf hearing a lot of yelling in the 200 block of Logan Street between a male and two females with a young child walking around. Officers advised the scene checked OK.

– A resident in the 400 block of Cedar Heights Road reported a dog barking non-stop in the area of Joy Court. Officers were unable to locate the dog.

– An anonymous caller reported a car just went through a stop sign at Walnut and South Pickaway streets, and the driver had no license or insurance. Officers were unable to locate the vehicle.

– A resident reported a known subject had stolen her daughter’s purse in the 200 block of Huston Street and was about to leave the residence. A report was taken.

– A caller reported two dogs were barking non-stop in the 1200 block of South Pickaway Street. Officers were unable to make contact with the dogs’ owners, and second shift officers would attempt to advise them. A report was taken.

– A caller reported her vehicle had been struck in the area of the Pour House on North Court Street. A report was taken on a property damage hit-skip.

– A resident in the 400 block of North Scioto Street reported her 14-year-old daughter was being unruly and tearing the house up. A report was taken.

– Officers assisted the Ohio State Highway Patrol on a traffic stop on North Court Street at Morris Road.

– A resident in the 200 block of East Main Street reported his dog had been stolen. Officers advised it was a lost dog. No report was taken.

– A resident in the 200 block of Lee Court requested an officer stand-by, but the officer advised the caller was not at the location.

– Extra patrol was requested in the 400 block of Lancaster Pike after a caller advised she had been hearing rumors her sister wanted to harm her.

– A caller reported a work truck was blocking the roadway in the 100 block of Island Road. The officer advised the vehicle was not in the roadway, and the scene checked OK.

– A caller reported a male subject was throwing dirt from his yard onto the street at Clinton and Ohio streets. The officer advised the male to clean up the dirt. No report was taken.

– A resident in the 900 block of Atwater Avenue reported he noticed some property was missing. A report was taken on theft.

– A resident in the 300 block of Long Street reported harassment by a known subject. The officer advised it was a civil issue, but the resident should call back if the person returned.

– A resident in the 500 block of North Pickaway Street reported her cell phone was stolen. Officers advised it was a civil issue.

– A caller reported several vehicles parked in the grass at Barthelmas Park and the drivers were refusing to move them.

– A caller reported a vehicle driving recklessly on West Mound at Scioto Street. Officers were unable to locate the vehicle.

– A caller reported a motorcycle was driving 100 miles per hour northbound in the 100 block of South Washington Street. Officers were unable to locate the vehicle.

– A caller reported a known subject who is on parole was drunk and being loud behind the Thirsty Parrot on South Washington Street. The scene checked OK.

– A caller reported a male was passed out in a vehicle near the Watt Street entrance of the parking lot at Dollar General on Lancaster Pike. Officers were unable to locate the vehicle.

– A resident in the 200 block of Huston Street reported her neighbors were yelling at each other. A report was taken.

– A resident in the 300 block of Pontious Lane reported her brother stole $1,000 from her, and she wanted to speak with an officer about a report she already filed.

– A resident in the 500 block of Ridgewood Drive reported a male subject walking in their back yard, and they believed he was intoxicated. Officers were unable to locate the subject.

– Brandon H. Rooker was arrested on an outstanding warrant in the 600 block of Clinton Street.

– A 911 caller reported a vehicle was stuck on the railroad tracks on South Court Street. Norfolk Southern was advised to stop all trains, and Fletcher’s Towing arrived on the scene and removed the vehicle. No damage was found to the vehicle or the tracks. A report was taken on a non-injury accident.

– Officers responded to an activated alarm at Hardee’s on West Main Street. The scene checked OK.

– A caller reported a female walking in the alley between the 500 block of East Mound Street and East Union Street toward Mingo who appeared to be under the influence of something. Officers were unable to locate the subject.

– A caller reported someone was hiding behind the dumpster area and kept peeking around the corner at employees at McDonalds on South Court Street. Officers were unable to locate the subject.
