February 4

– A resident in the 15000 block of Davis Road, Mt. Sterling, reported a known suspect had used her debit card several times. A report was taken on theft.

February 5

– A resident in the 11000 block of Ballah Road, Orient, reported an attempted Craigslist scam. A report was taken on attempted theft.

– Serena M. Embry, 35, of Ashville, was arrested for aggravated trafficking following a traffic stop on U.S. Route 22 near Keyes Road, Circleville.

– Herman L. Tidwell, 47, of Circleville, was arrested for domestic violence and assault in the 26000 block of Kingston Pike.

– Deputies responded to reports of domestic violence in the 28000 block of Westfall Road. No charges were filed per the victim’s wishes.

– A resident in the 600 block of North Pickaway Street reported a dog bite. A report was filed.

– A deputy responded to a complaint on a person in the 10000 block of Crownover Mill Road, Mt. Sterling. A report was filed.

– A deputy responded to an activated alarm on Owens Road, Circleville. Everything checked secure.

– William Smith, 39, of Chillicothe, struck a deer while traveling on St. Rt. 104.

– Christopher Burns, 19, of Groveport, advised he lost control in the snow on Winchester Road and ran off the roadway, striking a utility pole. No injuries were reported.

– Jerry Tomlinson Jr., 53, of Ashville, struck a deer while traveling on Hagerty Road.

– Amanda D. Peyton, 27, of Columbus, was arrested on an attachment for contempt issued by the Pickaway County Juvenile Court for non-support.

– Todd D. Elkins, 42, of Columbus, was arrested on a warrant from Circleville Municipal Court for failure to appear on the original charge of OVI.

– Nicki M. Clark, 32, of Columbus, was arrested on a warrant issued from Circleville Municipal Court for failure to appear on the original charge of violation of a protection order.

February 6

– A resident in the 16000 block of Main Street, Williamsport, reported money missing from his account. A report was taken on theft.

– A resident in the 200 block of Monticello Street reported an unknown subject went through his unlocked vehicle, but nothing was taken. A report was taken on criminal trespassing.

– A resident in the 8000 block of U.S. Route 22 East reported he had either lost or had a gun stolen from him. A report was taken on theft.

– A resident in the 200 block of Tarlton Road reorted she was receiving unwanted calls from a known suspect. A report was taken on telephone harassment.

– A deputy responded to reports of a vehicle fire on DuPont Road, Circleville. A report was taken.

– Scott Stanbridge, 45, of Lancaster, reported pulled from a parking lot on St. Rt. 159 and struck a vehicle driven by Debra Hettinger, 50, of Tarlton. No injuries were reported.

– Ray Deese, 39, of Orient, advised he wasn’t sure if he applied the parking brake on his vehicle after it rolled down a hill, striking a tree. A report was taken on a private property accident.

– Bruce Maaser, 65, of Hilliard, struck a deer while traveling on St. Rt. 762.

– Ronald Dick, 26, of Columbus, was cited for failure to control when his vehicle went off the roadway on Gulick Road, striking a ditch and then a tree.

– Lindsey N. Finitzer, 26, of Orient, was arrested on a warrant from Circleville Municipal Court for failure to appear on the original charge of failure to reinstate a driver’s license.

– Kenny J. Williamson, 32, of West Virginia, was arrested on a warrant of indictment from Pickaway County Common Pleas Court on the original charges of trafficking and possession of marijuana.

– Timothy Junior Jenkins, 42, of Columbus, was arrested on a warrant from Circleville Municipal Court for failure to appear on the original charge of driving under suspension.

February 7

– A resident in the 8000 block of Stoutsville Pike reported her boyfriend had taken some of her property, but it was later returned.

– A resident in the 1000 block of Shoshoni Drive reported problems with her 15-year-old daughter. A report was taken on an unruly child.

– An employee at Walmart reported a suspect left the store without paying for several items. The deputy got a description of the suspect, and the incident is under investigation. A report was taken on theft.

– A resident in the 27000 block of Caldwell Road reported an unknown suspect forced open a door on an unattached garage and removed several old barn siding boards. A report was taken on breaking and entering and theft.

– Thomas J. Baum, 33, of Circleville, was arrested for theft at Walmart.

– Deputies responded to a neighbor dispute in the 200 block of South East Street, New Holland. No charges were filed.

– Deputies responded to a neighbor dispute in the 5000 block of U.S. Route 22 West, Circleville. A report was filed.

– A deputy responded with Harrison Township Fire & EMS and MedFlight to the report of a hang glider accident in the 16000 block of London Road, Orient. The victim was transported by MedFlight to Grant Medical Center in Columbus.

– A Time-Warner Cable truck was damaged after a hit-skip property damage accident on Chippewa Drive. A report was taken.

February 8

– A resident in the 13000 block of Era Road, Mt. Sterling, reported an unknown suspect entered her residence through the front door and took her medication. A report was taken on breaking and entering and theft.

– A caller reported she was assaulted in the 2000 block of Chickasaw Drive while at the suspect’s home.

– A summons for drug paraphernalia was issued to a suspect following a traffic stop in the area of Walnut Creek Pike and Bell Station Road.

– Deputies responded to reports of an assault in the 4000 block of Duvall Road. The incident was a neighbor dispute. No injuries were reported and no charges were filed.

– Mark V. Wardlow, 58, and Sharon K. Kientz, 54, of Orient, were arrested for domestic violence in the 8000 block of Scioto Darby Road, Orient.

– A resident in the 18000 block of Commercial Point Road reported he had been receiving unwanted text messages from his ex-girlfriend. A report was taken on telephone harassment.

– A deputy responded to a complaint on a person in the 10000 block of Darby Creek Road, Orient. A report was filed.

– Deputies responded to a domestic dispute in the 13000 block of Tarlton Road. A report was filed.

– A deputy responded to a property complaint in the 5000 block of Durrett Road, Orient. A report was filed.

– A resident in the 13000 block of Spangler Road, Laurelville, reported a burglary in progress. Deputies determined no burglary had occurred. A report was filed.

February 9

– A deputy responded to a complaint on a person in the 5000 block of Mill Street, Orient. A report was filed.

– A caller reported a trash dumping complaint on Reynolds Road, Ashville. A report was filed.

– A deputy responded to a complaint on a person in the 8000 block of Kiousville-Georgesville Road, Mt. Sterling. A report was filed.

– A deputy responded to a domestic dispute in the 8000 block of St. Rt. 316 West, Orient. A report was filed.

– A deputy responded to an activated alarm on Tarlton Road. Everything checked secure.

– Theodore Murdaugh III, 28, of Dublin, was cited for assured clear distance ahead when his vehicle struck a vehicle driven by Rodney Sawyer, 48, of Columbus, on U.S. Route 23. No injuries were reported.

– Samantha M. Reid was arrested on a warrant of indictment from Pickaway County Common Pleas Court for two counts of aggravated possession of drugs.

– David A. Jones was arrested on a warrant of indictment from Pickaway County Common Pleas Court for aggravated trafficking in drugs with specification and aggravated possession of drugs with specification.

– Robert A. Schofield was arrested on a warrant of indictment from Pickaway County Common Pleas Court for two counts of domestic violence.

– Heather S. Danner was arrested on a warrant of indictment from Pickaway County Common Pleas Court for trafficking in cocaine and trafficking in heroin.

– Bobby G. Hupp Sr. was arrested on a warrant of indictment from Pickaway County Common Pleas Court for nine counts of theft and forgery.
