May 4

– A resident in the 200 block of South Main Street, Williamsport, reported her brother was threatening her. A report was taken on menacing.

– A resident in the 11000 block of Greenbrier Street, Derby, reported she and her friend were being threatened by her brother. A report was taken on menacing.

– A resident in the 25000 block of Egypt Pike, New Holland, reported an unknown person stole his tree stand from his property. A report was taken on theft.

May 5

– A resident in the 5000 block of Hagerty Road reported an unknown person damaged her mailbox. A reports was taken on criminal damaging.

– A resident in the 100 block of Grove Run Road, Commercial Point, reported an unknown person stole a portable basketball hoop from their yard. The hoop was found at a neighbor’s residence and taken back to their house. A report was taken on theft.

– A resident in the 14000 block of David Road, Mt. Sterling, reported he and another resident were assaulted by a third resident. A report was taken on assault.

– A resident in the 13000 block of Tenny Road, Mt. Sterling, reported damage to a mailbox.

– A deputy responded to reports of a domestic dispute in the 11000 block of Ashville Pike.

– A deputy responded to reports of found property in the 9200 block of U.S., Route 62. The property was returned to its owner.

– A deputy responded to reports of a domestic dispute in the 5000 block of Franklin Street, Orient. The deputy advised there were no signs of abuse.

– James Christ III, 55, of Hillsboro, was cited for marked lanes when he struck a vehicle driven by Cecil Brewer, 38, of Ray, on state Route 104.

– Rodney Sherman, 59, of Defiance, struck a parked car owned by Johanna Miller of New Holland in the parking lot at Rhoads Market.

May 6

– A resident in the 7000 block of Darby Creek Road reported someone broke into her vehicle and took cash. A report was taken on theft.

– Deputies responded to the 10000 block of Darby Creek Road on reports of an overdose. Jessica M. Lillie, 26, of Orient, was charged with possession of drug abuse instruments and will be summoned to court.

– A deputy performed a well-being check in the 8000 block of U.S. Route 22 East. The subject checked OK.

– A deputy responded to a complaint on a person on West Street in Commercial Point.

– A deputy responded to reports of found property in the 17000 block of Ringgold Northern Road. The property was taken to the Pickaway County Sheriff’s Office and secured in an evidence locker for disposal.

– A deputy responded to reports of a domestic dispute on Pike Street in Williamsport.

– Michelle A. McMannis, 38, was arrested on a warrant from Circleville Municipal Court for failure to appear on the original charge of OL compliance.

May 7

– A resident in the 26000 block of Plummer Road, Williamsport, reported someone stole two guitars from his residence. A report was taken on breaking and entering.

– A resident in the 20000 block of Five Points Pike, Williamsport, reported someone entered his residence and stole a gun. A report was taken on burglary.

– A resident in the 14000 block of state Route 104, Ashville, reported she had been receiving calls from a male against whom she has a protection order. Charges are pending.

– Deputies responded to reports of two semi trucks on fire in the 26000 block of U.S. Route 23. Fire crews from Pickaway Township, Green Township and Circleville handled the scene.

– Deputies responded to a complaint on a person in the 7000 block of Warner Huffer Road.

– A deputy responded to reports of a domestic dispute on Pawnee Drive.

– A deputy responded to a complaint on property on Hitler Road #2, Circleville. The Walnut Township Trustees were contacted to pick up and dispose of the property.

– A deputy responded to a juvenile complaint on Spruce Street, Williamsport.

– A deputy responded to a complaint on a person and property in the 10000 block of U.S. Route 62. The property was returned to its owner.

– A deputy responded to reports of a disabled school bus on Hagerty Road at Winchester Road. Another bus arrived for the students, and school officials arrived on the scene to safely get the bus back to school property.

– Travis M. Faile, a.k.a. Harshman, 30, was arrested in a warrant of indictment from Pickaway County Common Pleas Court for theft and forgery.

May 8

– Deputies responded to the 7000 block of Mound Street, Orient, on reports of a fight. Both parties declined charges.

– A resident in the 7000 block of Mound Street, Orient, reported her husband hit her. Charges are pending.

– Deputies responded to reports of an assault between two males at Logan Elm High School. A report was taken.

– A caller reported unknown subjects had dumped several items along the roadway in the 21000 block of Hannawalt Road, Mt. Sterling. A report was taken on trash dumping.

– Jason L. Crampton, 32, of Lancaster, and Samantha S. Salyers, 29, of Circleville, were arrested following a traffic stop on Water Street north of North Scioto Street in Circleville. Crampton is charged with possession of drugs, scheduled I and II, possession of drug abuse instruments and possession of drug paraphernalia, as well as a contempt of court charge for non-support of dependents. Salyers is charged with possession of drug abuse instruments.

– A resident in the 11000 block of London Road, Derby, reported her vehicle was taken and later located. A report was taken on unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.

– A deputy responded to an activated alarm on Emerson Road. Everything checked secure.

– A deputy responded to reports of a domestic dispute in the 5000 block of St. Paul Road, Ashville.

– A deputy responded to a juvenile complaint at 600 Island Road, Circleville.

– A deputy responded to an animal complaint in the 8000 block of Snyder Road, Orient.

– A deputy responded to reports of found property and a complaint on vehicles in the 300 block of South Water Street, Williamsport.

– Carla Pell, 41, of Orient, was cited for rules turning left when she reportedly pulled out in front of a vehicle on U.S. Route 62 driven by Monica Pierce, 35, of Grove City, and was struck.

– Delores McCoy, 64, of Williamsport, struck a deer while traveling on London Road.

– Ashley Kuhn, 20, was arrested on contempt of court charges for non-support of dependents.

– James M. Boltenhouse Jr. was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on the original charge of receiving stolen property.

May 9

– A resident in the 4000 block of state Route 316 West, Ashville, reported someone had used her debit/credit card overnight to make purchases. The subject was found to be her 16-year-old grandson, who was arrested and released to his grandparents.

– Alissa F. Wrightsel, 39, of Kingston, was arrested for theft at Shoe Show on Circleville Plaza Drive.

– A resident in the 5000 block of Paul Revere Road, Orient, reported someone stole eight bags of mulch from her yard. A report was taken on theft.

– A deputy responded to reports of a domestic dispute in the 200 block of School Street, Williamsport.

– A deputy responded to reports of a domestic dispute in the 10000 block of Randle Road, Williamsport.

– A deputy responded to an animal call in the 1400 block of South Court Street, Circleville.

– A deputy responded to reports of found property in the 7000 block of Warner Huffer Road.

– A deputy responded to a complaint on a person in the 17000 block of Winchester Road, Ashville.

– A deputy responded to reports of found property in the 11000 block of London Road, Orient.

– A deputy responded to a complaint on a person in the 6000 block of state Route 361, Circleville.

– A deputy responded to reports of property damage at Springlawn Cemetery in Williamsport.

– A deputy responded to reports of a suspicious vehicle in the 19000 block of Ringgold Southern Road.

May 10

– Deputies responded to reports of a bar fight at Dawg Ugly on South Water Street, Williamsport. The victim stated he was assaulted by two individuals and was taken to the hospital for treatment. Charges are pending.

– A resident in the 3000 block of state Route 316 West, Ashville, reported an unknown person kicked in his front door, but nothing was taken. A report was taken on criminal damaging.

– Deputies responded to reports of a large fight in the street on Mound Street in Orient. No injuries were reported, and no arrests were made.

– A deputy responded to reports of found property in the 5000 block of U.S. Route 22 West. The property was released to its owner.

– A deputy responded to a complaint on a juvenile in the 15000 block of Bai Road, Mt. Sterling.

– A deputy responded to a harassment complaint on South Main Street, Williamsport.

– Darrell Harvey, 61, of Lancaster, advised he drove off the roadway into a farm field on U.S. Route 22, crashing through a farm fence and getting the vehicle stuck in the mud.

– Kelby Geiser, 34, of South Bloomfield, struck a deer while traveling on U.S. Route 23.

– David Eckel, 24, of Circleville, struck a deer while traveling on U.S. Route 23.

– Gregory A. Gawell, 21, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on the original charge of criminal damaging.

May 11

– An employee at Rivers Edge Auto Sales on state Route 104, Ashville, reported an attempted breaking and entering at the business after finding the back door partially open. Nothing appeared to be missing. A report was taken.

– Robert James Ufland, 56, of Michigan, was arrested in the 19000 block of U.S. Route 23 after deputies responded to reports of an intoxicated male with a gun on a Greyhound bus, but no gun was located. Ufland was arrested for disorderly conduct and inducing panic.

– Deputies responded to a domestic dispute in the 10000 block of Yankeetown Pike, Williamsport. No charges were filed.

– A resident in the 10000 block of Lockbourne Eastern Road, Ashville, stated his son was posting threats to harm him on Facebook. The victim declined charges at this time.

– A deputy responded to an activated alarm in the 27000 block of Kime Holderman Road. Everything checked secure.

– A deputy responded to reports of a domestic dispute in the 9000 block of Iroquois Way, Orient.

– A deputy responded to a complaint on a person in the 7000 block of Mound Street, Orient.

– A deputy responded to reports of trash dumping in the 10000 block of Mantle Road, Orient.

– A deputy responded to an activated alarm in the 11000 block of Thrailkill Road, Orient.

– Jessica Phelps, 20, of West Jefferson, was cited for left of center when the vehicle she was driving sideswiped a vehicle driven by Sohail Chauday, 26, of Columbus, on state Route 762.

– Christian A. Welsh, 20, was arrested on a warrant of indictment for two counts of possession of cocaine.

May 12

– A resident in the 19000 block of U.S. Route 23 reported prowlers in the area. No one was located.

– Sandra Vandyke, 48, of Circleville, struck a deer while traveling on U.S. Route 23.
