Charles “Rick” Lones, age 65, of Kingston, passed away Sunday, May 10, 2015, at his residence.

He was born Oct. 13, 1949, in Fairfield County, to the late Charles and Juanita (Gobel) Lones.

Rick was a 1967 graduate of Amanda-Clearcreek High School, a U.S. Navy veteran, a member of the Masonic Lodge, and worked as an inspector for the Kenworth Truck Company in Chillicothe.

He enjoyed old cars, antiques and yard sales, and he repaired and collected many Aladdin lamps over the years.

Rick is survived by his daughter, Courtney (Damon Howard) Lones, and her mother, Renee Abbott Lones, all of Lancaster.

In addition to his parents, Rick was preceded in death by his son, Monty Richard Lones.

Cremation has been handled with care by the Taylor Funeral Home in Amanda. A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family.
