T. Pauline Rose

T. Pauline (Donley) Rose, age 94, of Chillicothe, passed away on Friday, June 16, 2017, at Westmoreland Place in Chillicothe, where she had been a resident for a number of years.

She was born on June 18, 1922, to the late Chester and Maud (Cook) Donley in Firebrick.

She was a 1940 graduate of Blackfork High School and attended three years of college.

Pauline had worked at Wright Patterson Air Force Base and also for Ohio Youth Commission before retiring.

She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Chillicothe and the U.M.W.

She is preceded in death by brothers, Gordon, Winston “Wink” and Forrest; sisters, Lola Hollback, Vada Shoemaker, Lenora Kleinke, Glendora Sheward and Norma McCoy.

Pauline is survived by a daughter, Ann Marie (Earl) Sauls of Rattan, Oklahoma; a grandson, James (Lori) Holt of Springfield, Illinois: four great-grandchildren, Jazmine, Kelsey, Keelin and Erik Holt; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

At Pauline’s request, cremation has taken place, and a graveside service will take place at 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 20, 2017, in South Webster Cemetery, S.R. 140 in South Webster, with Rev. Sam Peters officiating.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory Pauline may be made to First United Methodist Church, 585 E. Main St., Chillicothe, OH 45601 or a charity of choice.
