John E. Albaugh, 76, of Circleville, passed away Friday, June 16, 2017, at Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus.
He was born Tuesday, April 15, 1941, in Dennison, to the late Dells and Mary Elizabeth ‘Lemonte’ Albaugh.
He was a US Navy veteran.
John retired from General Tire in Newcomerstown and had also been a barber, farrier and for 30 years was a horse trailer repairman.
John was preceded in death by his wife, Myrna Ruth ‘Landon’ Albaugh, who passed away June 11, 1993; and son, GE Eric Albaugh, who passed away March 11, 1986.
He is survived by two daughters, Andrea (Don) Townsend of Sunbury and Elaine N. Albaugh of Clarksburg; grandson, Brandon Eric Albaugh Cain; lady friend, Kimberly Riffle of Circleville; two sisters, Jan Cargnel of Uhrichsville and Joan Neighbor of Dover.
Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Thursday, June 22, 2017, at Union Cemetery in Port Wahington with Rev. Jim Reed officiating. Military graveside services will be held by the Newcomerstown Veterans Honor Guard.
