Wilmer “Bill” Longberry, 79, of Circleville, passed away on June 7, 2017.

He was born on July 6, 1937, in Franklin County, to Frank and Evelyn (Boss) Longberry.

Bill served with the Army National Guard for six years, worked for over 30 years at Wardell’s Carpet and Rug and five years at Arrow Molded Plastic.

He enjoyed gardening and hunting and the Ohio State Buckeyes.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and infant brother, Frances Longberry.

Bill is survived by his wife of 55 years, Patty (Smallwood) Longberry; son, Eric (Dara) Longberry of Gahanna; brother, Ed (Rosemary) Longberry of Grove City; sister-in-law, Barbara Salyers of Ashville; brother-in-law, Glen McFarland of Circleville; and by several nieces and nephews.

At the request of Bill, no calling hours will be observed, and burial will be in Forest Cemetery.

The family wishes to thank Berger Hospice and Logan Elm Healthcare and the nurse’s aides for their care and concern.
