May 30, 2017:

– A caller in the 300 block of Pontious Lane reported she discovered her window air conditioner lying on the ground. Officer advised the scene checked OK.

– Officers responded to a 911 hang-up call at Berger Hospital. An employee advised it was accidental by a patient.

– Officers responded to an activated alarm in the 400 block of East Ohio Street. The scene checked OK.

– A caller from Ohio Market on East Ohio Street reported a suspicious person outside the store. Officers advised the subject checked OK, and he was just having vehicle problems.

– A caller from the Budget Host Inn on U.S. Route 23 reported he just went out to his vehicle and found his windows had been busted out. A report was taken on vandalism. The caller later reported a GPS, bag of clothing and miscellaneous food had been taken from his vehicle.

– A caller in the 400 block of East Franklin Street reported a bicycle lying near the street across from his residence. Officers advised the scene checked OK, and the bike was in someone’s yard.

– A caller in the 500 block of Mowrer Road reported his black motorized bicycle was stolen from his carport. A report was taken on theft. The bicycle was later discovered after three callers reported juveniles riding it on Logan Street and throwing rocks at passing cars. The bike was returned to its owner.

– Officers responded to a parking complaint at Pickaway Manor on Clark Drive.

– Officers responded to an activated alarm in the 300 block of Northridge Road.

– A caller reported finding a wallet on Bolender-Pontious Road.

– Officers responded to a landlord/tenant dispute in the 600 block of Clinton Street.

– A caller in the 200 block of Sherwood Drive reported a bicycle had been left his his driveway. A report was taken on found property.

– Officers responded to a hit-skip injury accident at Nicholas Drive and Northridge Road in which the victim reported her vehicle was struck by a driver in a gray car who then left the scene.

– A caller on Walnut Street reported juveniles were trying to sell her neighbor stolen flowers. The mother and juveniles were advised to stay away from the caller.

– A caller advised she was threatened by subjects while leaving the Pickaway County Courthouse. Officers advised the incident occurred on county property at the front door of the courthouse, and the complainant was referred to the Pickaway County Sheriff’s Office.

– A caller in the 100 block of Barry Drive reported someone, possibly a know subject, broke into her house while she was away and took a TV. A report was taken on burglary.

– The dog warden requested an officer stand-by in the 600 block of East Mound Street. No report was taken.

– A caller from the Pumpkin Patch Farm Market reported 12 hanging baskets had been stolen. A report was taken on theft.

– A caller on Maize Court reported belongings had been left on her property by her daughter. Both parties were advised it was a civil matter.

– A caller in the 200 block of Timberline Drive reported a case of identity theft. A report was taken.

– Officers were advised to be on the lookout for a reckless driver on West Main Street.

– A 911 caller advised an unruly juvenile was screaming at his mother and trying to throw punches on Walnut Street. The parties were advised to stay away from each other.

– A caller reported a road rage incident at Northridge Road and Atwater Avenue. The caller was advised to call back if the other party returned.

– Officers responded to a landlord/tenant dispute on Clinton Street in which the tenant claimed the landlord had changed the locks on him without an eviction notice. The caller was advised it was a civil matter and what process to take.

– A caller in the 1100 block of Atwater Avenue reported a prowler came up to his residence, looked into his window, saw his son and asked if his parents were home. When the son told the male they would be home soon, he took off on a bicycle. Information was obtained.

– Officers responded to reports of a domestic dispute on Logan Street. A report was taken.

– A caller advised a known subject wearing a white t-shirt and using a cane was wandering appearing to be lost on East Corwin Street. Officers located the subject at his residence.

– A caller from Berger Hospital requested an officer to remove individuals who had been asked to leave the hospital but were refusing. The individuals were advised they were not allowed back on the property.

– Officers responded to a 911 hang-up call from Speedway on North Court Street. The officer on the scene advised of a domestic dispute, and a report was taken.

– A caller on Walnut Street reported three juveniles had been out going door to doo to sell what neighbors believe were stolen flowers. Extra patrol was requested, and the district unit was advised.

May 31, 2017:

– Officers traveled to the Fairfield County Jail in Lancaster to pick up Brian Kitchen on a warrant.

– A caller on Walnut Street reported he gave a known subject a ride, and his bank card turned up missing. Officers advised everything checked OK.

– A caller who reported a man came to his door and asked the kids if their parents were home the day before was now sitting down the street from his residence. The subject was advised of the complaint and was told not to return to the residence.

– An officer was flagged down regarding a hit-skip accident at Speedway on North Court Street. A report was taken.

– Officers responded to multiple activated alarms at PNC Bank on East Main Street. The scene checked OK, and the alarms were reset.

– Officers responded to reports of a disabled vehicle causing a traffic hazard on Stoutsville Pike.

– A caller in the 600 block of South Court Street reported a vehicle had been stolen from behind the Castle Inn. A report was taken. The caller later advised she saw her stolen vehicle in the area of West Huston and Scioto streets.

– Officers responded to an activated alarm in the 400 block of Willow Lane. The scene checked OK.

– Charles B. Davis was arrested on an outstanding warrant in the 100 block of Walnut Street.

– A caller advised he was turning into the parking lot at UDF and was involved in a property damage accident. No report was taken by request.

– A caller in the 500 block of Renick Avenue reported a known subject was harassing her and had stolen her clothes, cut them up and hung them around the inside of her trailer.

– Officers delivered a message in the 1000 block of South Washington Street.

– A caller in the 100 block of South Court Street appeared to be in an argument with a neighbor, but she was unintelligible over the phone. Officers advised there was no dispute, and the neighbors were upset over a death earlier in the week.

– A caller from the United Methodist Church in the 400 block of South Washington Street reported a purse was left on the front steps that didn’t belong to anyone in the congregation. Officers advised there was no property in the purse.

– A caller in the 900 block of Clinton Street reported someone stole her son’s bicycle.

– A caller on Walnut Street reported he had injuries from an assault. A report was taken.

– A caller from Tootle’s Pumpkin Inn reported a female was possibly blacked out in a vehicle in front of the business. The subject checked OK.

– Officers responded to a parking complaint in the 800 block of South Pickaway Street.

– A caller in the 100 block of Seyfert Avenue advised an unknown juvenile keeps showing up in her back yard and playing on her children’s swing set, and he was currently there swinging. A report was taken, and the juvenile was returned home.

– Officers traveled to the Fairfield County Jail in Lancaster to pick up Jacob Skaggs on a warrant.

– Officers responded to a 911 hang-up call on Half Avenue. A report was taken on a domestic dispute.

– A caller in the 600 block of East Mound Street reported a utility vehicle had knocked down a line across her driveway and her vehicle. A report was taken on property damage, and Spectrum was notified.

– A resident came to the police station to report a lawn mower had been stolen from his yard.

– Officers responded to an activated alarm in the 500 block of Willow Lane. The call was canceled by the alarm company.

– A caller on Half Avenue reported two subjects were arguing and wouldn’t leave. A report was taken on a domestic dispute.

– Officers attempted to locate a subject to serve a warrant on Caroline Court.

– Officers responded to a property damage accident at South Pickaway and Ohio streets.

– Officers responded to an activated alarm at the maintenance building at Forest Cemetery. The scene checked OK.

– A caller in the 200 block of Logan Street reported someone threw a firecracker at her front door.

– Officers responded as mutual aid for the Pickaway County Sheriff’s Office at Walmart on a report that a female could be heard screaming for help from four semi’s parked near the pharmacy. Officers were unable to locate the subject.

– Officers responded to an injury accident at Speedway on Lancaster Pike.

– A caller in the 200 block of Island Road reported someone had been in his shop, and he did not know if anything had been taken.

– Officers performed a well-being check on South Scioto Street. The subject left prior to the officer’s arrival, and the building checked OK.

June 1, 2017:

– A caller from Ohio Market on East Ohio Street reported a female sleeping in her vehicle, and when they attempted to wake her, she seemed very lethargic. The officer advised the female checked OK.

– A caller in the Ohio Heights apartment complex reported her roommate called her crying reporting her boyfriend was intoxicated and yelling at her, and there was a history of abuse. The officer advised both parties reported nothing was going on, and the scene checked OK.

– A caller from the Duke and Duchess gas station on East Main Street reported a male subject was demanding cigarettes and other items. He then left and walked behind the building. Officers were unable to locate the subject.

– A caller in the 200 block of East Mound Street reported her vehicle had been broken into overnight and multiple items were taken. She also believed the car had been taken for a joy ride. A report was taken.

– A resident came to the police station to report a bicycle was lying along the tracks at the Norfolk Southern railroad. A report was taken on found property.

– The marketing director for Ohio Christian University advised they would be flying a drone in downtown Circleville to get photos for their website. Information was obtained.

– A caller reported a two vehicle property damage accident at Cargill on West Main Street.

– Officers responded to reports of a disabled vehicle on the access road near Arby’s on U.S. Route 23.

– A caller in the 100 block of Seyfert Avenue reported the boy who keeps playing on her swing set in her back yard was back. The sister of the boy picked him up at the residence.

– Officers responded to a three-vehicle injury accident at Pontious Road and Route 188.

– A caller advised a semi was blocking the handicap ramp in the 1100 block of North Court Street. Officers were unable to locate the vehicle.

– A caller reported someone struck her vehicle while it was parked at CashMax on East Main Street.

– A caller in the 500 block of Maize Court advised a nail on one of the speed bumps at the apartment complex did damage to her vehicle the week before.

– A caller from Duke and Duchess reported a possibly stolen vehicle was parked on the lot. Officers advised it was not the stolen vehicle.

– Officers responded to an activated medical alarm on Sunset Drive. The scene checked OK.

– Angel Boggs was arrested on an outstanding warrant at Duke and Duchess on East Main Street.

– A caller in the 400 block of Half Avenue requested to speak with an officer regarding harassment.

– A resident came to the police station to turn in a bank card he found on Half Avenue.

– A caller advised of a reckless driver on state Route 56. Officers were unable to locate the vehicle.

– A caller requested to speak with an officer in the parking lot at PICCA on East Ohio Street. The stand-by was completed.

– Officers responded to an injury accident in the 200 block of East Main Street.

– A caller in the 100 block of East Franklin Street reported someone stole money off her debit card, and that a physical altercation had occurred. A report was taken.

– A police sergeant advised he would be assisting the probation department, and then requested a squad for a male with a possible concussion. The subject was transported to Berger Hospital.

– A caller from Berger Hospital requested an officer due to the father of a child wanting to leave the hospital with the child after being advised to go to Children’s Hospital for further testing.

– A caller in the 1100 block of North Court Street reported a weed eater had been stolen.

– A caller in the 400 block of East Main Street reported her friend had been bitten by a dog and was refusing a squad. A report was taken on a dog bite.

– A resident came to the police station to turn in a wallet she found at Valero on Lancaster Pike.

– A caller on West Ohio Street reported a suspicious male drinking vodka and yelling verbal threats at people. Officers were unable to locate the subject.

– A caller reported a suspicious vehicle driving in the 500 block of Sycamore Drive. Information was obtained.

– A caller on West Corwin Street reported the neighbors keep damaging her fence, and now the neighbor was threatening her. A report was taken on a neighbor dispute.

– A caller in the 600 block of East Mound Street reported ATVs driving in the alleys and roadway at a high rate of speed. The Ohio State Highway Patrol was requested and handled due to several active calls.

– A resident in the 400 block of North Scioto Street came to the police station to report her daughter’s iPhone had been stolen. The call was canceled when an unknown female returned the phone.

– A caller on South Pickaway Street reported her husband took her phone and keys. A report was taken on a domestic dispute.

– An officer marked out with a subject at Duke and Duchess who possibly had an outstanding warrant. The subject checked OK.

– A caller on Mowrer Road advised she heard a friend of her daughter’s was threatening to overdose on medication. Officers made contact with the subject’s parents, and the juvenile checked OK.
