Donald F. Kasler

Donald Freeman Kasler, 93, of Circleville, passed away on May 31, 2017, at Berger Hospital, Circleville.

He was born on March 27, 1924, in Morgan County, Homer Twp., Ohio, to Miles Freeman and Edna Elizabeth (Phillips) Kasler.

Donald a World War II US Army veteran serving as a Tech Sergeant in the South Pacific on the Isle of Saipan.

He was a charter member and life-long servant of Northridge Church of Christ and a member of the International Union of Bricklayers Local 55 since 1949.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wives, Nelva Louise (Nichols) and Beulah (Clifton) Kasler; sisters, Elizabeth Jane Kasler and Norma Jean (Kasler) Koons; daughter, Linda Elizabeth Kasler; grandsons, Benjamin Kasler and Eric Smith; daughter-in-law, Linda McGlone; and by several brothers and sisters-in-laws.

Donald is survived by his children, Max and Nancy (Keller), David and Mary (Gates), Rodney and Wendy (Duncan), Philip and Robin (Roy) Kasler, Jerry McGlone, Marion and Evelina (McGlone) Garner; brother, Roger and Emeria (Van Horn) Kasler; and by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews and many special friends.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, June 5, 2017, at the Wellman Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at 2:30 p.m. in Maplewood Cemetery, 11958 Congress Run Road, Glouster, Ohio. Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
