The Teays Valley Local School District recently received a $10,000 grant from the Teays Valley Educational Foundation to be used to help purchase the Naviance College and Career Readiness Program, which will be used by all Teays Valley high school and middle school students next school year.

This program will allow students to work with their teachers and guidance counselors to set personal goals and tasks, search for colleges and explore careers based on personal skills and interests.

“The TVEF grant for the Naviance system will provide our students with a personalized success plan, enable students and counselors to connect college and career planning to student goals and allow students to collaborate with educators to set personal goals and tasks, search for colleges and explore careers based on personal skills and interests,” said Kyle Wolfe, assistant superintendent. “What’s exciting about this program the TVEF has helped to fund is that it will benefit every one of the 4,000-plus students enrolled in our school district. We are grateful and thankful to the TVEF.”
