Peggy L. (Thomas) McGraw, 79, of Derby, formerly of Shrewsbury, West Virginia, went to her eternal home on Sunday, April 16, 2017.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gene; son, Darrell; parents, John and Inez (McSurley) Thomas; brothers, Bill and Johnny; and sisters, Delma, Freda and Shirley.
She is survived by her loving children, Sandy (Dave) Trzcinski of Columbus, Kevin of Derby, Tammy (Bob) Gilcher of Youngstown and Amy (a daughter who is grand) of Grove City; grandchildren, Amanda (Paul) Hrnicek, Amber (Brandon) Smith, Sarah, Logan, Chayton, Derek and Kayla; daughter-in-law, Linda; four great-grandchildren, Liam, Morgan, Taylor and Audrey, whom she greatly loved and adored with all her heart. She is also survived by a host of friends.
Peggy was so proud of being a member of the Rebekah Lodge in Derby, where she served as Noble Grand. She loved the outdoors and loved flowers and the birds.
A funeral service was held at 1 p.m. Friday, April 21, 2017, at the Porter-Tidd Funeral Home, 331 W. Main St., Mt. Sterling, Rev. Dortha Ross officiating, with the interment following in Pleasant Cemetery. Family received friends from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday.
