CIRCLEVILLE – The Pickaway County Democratic Party is currently seeking resumes to fill two open seats on Circleville City Council through the remainder of the year.

The first seat is at-large, which covers the entire city, and was vacated following the recent death of councilwoman Tammy Bowers. Candidates for this position can live anywhere within the Circleville city limits.

The second seat, representing the fourth ward on the city’s south end, is being vacated by Sister Monica Justinger, who recently announced she is moving and can no longer represent the ward. Candidates for this position must live within the boundaries of the fourth ward.

Since both seats are currently held by Democrats, applicants must be active Democrats to be considered.

Both positions would complete the current terms that expire at the end of 2017.

Resumes should be sent to Marsha Few, Pickaway County Democratic Party Central Committee Chairman, 22561 Ringgold Southern Rd., Stoutsville, OH 43154. The deadline for resumes is April 7.
