Evelyn Louise Morris, 92, of Ashville, passed away on March 13, 2017.
She was born on June 4, 1924, in Newark.
In addition to her mother, Mary Mills, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carlton Morris; and a daughter, Sandy Morris.
Evelyn was retired from Teays Valley and Circleville Schools, where she was a custodian. She was a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary.
Evelyn is survived by her children, Fred (Ruth Ann) and Steven (Candy) Morris, Hope Leach, Denise Wiley and Carlton Morris; grandchildren, Mark, Tim, Michele, Sarah, Ryan, Melanie, Chris, Kimberly, David and Donald; and by several great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 16, 2017, at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville, with Chaplain Jim Ferrell officiating and burial to follow in Forest Cemetery. Friends may call from noon to 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
The family wishes to thank Mt. Carmel Hospice and Monterey Care Center for their special care of Evelyn.
