The following cases recently were heard by Judge P. Randall Knece in Pickaway County Common Pleas Court:

– Kathleen J. Courtright, 29, of Columbus, pleaded guilty to attempted tampering with evidence. She will be sentenced following a pre-sentence investigation by the court.

– Connie S. Daniels, 51, of Columbus, pleaded guilty to a violation of terms of intervention. She was sentenced to 45 days in the county jail with intervention continued.

– Dwayne C. Dawson, 49, of state Route 104, Orient, pleaded guilty to involuntary manslaughter and trafficking in heroin. He was sentenced to 11 years in state prison.

– Ricky G. Giffin Jr., 19, of Logan Street, Circleville, pleaded not guilty to possession of drugs and trafficking in drugs. A pretrial hearing is set for April 14.

– Ritchie J. Giffin, 21, of Renick Avenue, Circleville, pleaded guilty to trafficking in heroin. He will be sentenced following a pre-sentence investigation by the court.

– James W. Jacobs, 28, of Dunmore Road, Circleville, pleaded guilty to escape. He was sentenced to nine months in state prison plus 360 days for violating post-release control.

– Brittany N. Lambert, 26, of Riverview Road, Williamsport, pleaded guilty to theft and forgery. She was sentenced to three years of intervention, 30 days in the county jail, six months in a community-based correctional facility program and must pay $1,200 in restitution.

– Michael D. Linek, 17, an inmate at the Pickaway County Jail, pleaded guilty to robbery. He was sentenced to 42 months in state prison and $628 in restitution.

– Shy L. Mertins, 21, of South Water Street, Williamsport, pleaded not guilty to theft. A pretrial hearing is set for April 14.

– Robert T. Peyton, 34, of state Route 762, Ashville, pleaded guilty to theft from the elderly. A pretrial hearing is set for April 14.

– Timothy Tate, 36, of Springfield, pleaded guilty to illegal conveyance of prohibited items into a prison. He was sentenced to 12 months in state prison.

– Sean M. Webb, 31, of Sioux Drive, Circleville, pleaded guilty to two counts of possession of heroin. He was sentenced to 12 months in state prison.

– Christian T. Bray, 41, of Water Street, Tarlton, pleaded not guilty to two counts of burglary, two counts of theft and one count of grand theft of a motor vehicle. A pretrial hearing is set for April 14.

– Jacob C. Conner, 24, listed as homeless, pleaded not guilty to burglary, receiving stolen property and three counts of harassment by an inmate. A pretrial hearing is set for April 14.

Nicholas E. Crosby, 25, of Chillicothe, pleaded guilty to engaging in a pattern of corrupt activity, felony trafficking in heroin, trafficking in heroin and possession of heroin. He was sentenced to 23 years in state prison.

– Evan M. Dickson, 21, of Baltimore, pleaded guilty to vandalism. He was sentenced to three years of intervention and $2,650 in restitution.

– Timothy Fleming, 30, of Chillicothe Pike, Williamsport, pleaded guilty to a violation of terms of intervention. He was ordered to continue intervention with six months at a community-based correctional facility program.

– Hayden A. Gaines, 40, of Dennis Road, Mt. Sterling, pleaded not guilty to robbery. A pretrial hearing is set for April 14.

Chad C. Grabill, 21, of Lancaster Pike, Circleville, pleaded guilty to a violation of terms of intervention. He was sentenced to 10 months in state prison.

– Timothy B. Griffith, 31, of Alma Avenue, Circleville, pleaded guilty to burglary and theft. He was sentenced to eight years in state prison plus 702 days for violating post-release control. He also was ordered to pay $6,250 in restitution.

– Carl D. Martin Jr., 44, of Bulen Pierce Road, Lockbourne, pleaded guilty to receiving stolen property. He will be sentenced following a pre-sentence investigation by the court.

– Justin C. Pummell, 33, of Hiegle Road, Stoutsville, pleaded not guilty to failure to comply, having weapons under disability, possession of heroin and improperly handling weapons in a motor vehicle. A pretrial hearing is set for April 14.

– Guy M. Robbins, 63, of Columbus, pleaded not guilty to burglary and theft. A pretrial hearing is set for April 14.

– Wesley L. Holbrook, 40, of Urbana, pleaded guilty to a violation of community control. He was sentenced to 10 months in state prison.

– Eric S. Likens, 45, of Kingston, pleaded guilty to possession of heroin. He was sentenced to three years of intervention.

– Amanda M. Lowery, 29, of Logan Street, Circleville, pleaded guilty to possession of heroin. She was sentenced to three years of intervention.

– Matthew T. McCabe, 31, of Randolph Street, Ashville, pleaded guilty to possession of heroin. He was sentenced to three years of intervention and 30 days in the county jail.

– Richard Tanner, 30, of state Route 104, Ashville, pleaded guilty to a violation of terms of intervention. He was sentenced to 30 days in the county jail with treatment.
