Mary Loretta Beavers, 85, of Circleville, passed away on March 12, 2017.
She was born on March 9, 1932, in Madison County, to Gilbert and Cynthia (Casto) Champer.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Marion “Bevo” Beavers, whom she married on Dec. 6, 1950; daughter, Debra Beavers; and siblings, Verne, Betty and Pearl Champer.
Mary was a retired lunchroom supervisor for Logan Elm Schools. She attended St. Paul United Methodist Church and was a member of the Women’s Society.
Mary is survived by her children, Lora (Tim) Wagner of Cadiz, Kentucky, and Wray Jean Beavers of Circleville; grandchildren, Casey (Becky) and Jordy (Nicole) Wagner; great-grandchildren, Alyvia, Ada and Elsie; brother, Donald Champer; sisters, Rose Pearce and Belle (Bob) Eversole; sisters-in-law, Linda Champer and Maxine Beavers; and by several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, March 16, 2017, at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville, with Pastor Doug Shriner officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Cemetery. Friends may call from 3 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
