Jennifer A (Lyons) Smith, 63, of Ashville, passed away Thursday, March 9, 2017, at Riverside Methodist Hospital.
She was born on July 24, 1953, to the late Dan and Anna (Frances) Lyons.
She graduated from Paul G Blazer High School (1971) in Ashland, Kentucky.
Jennifer had worked for over 30 years at Palmetto GBA, formerly Nationwide, in insurance claims. She was an avid UK fan and enjoyed sports cars including Camaros and Corvettes.
Jennifer was preceded in by her sister, Becky (Lyons) Hagan.
She is survived by her husband of 20 years, Paul Reed Smith; children, Dana Warnock (Kelly Ovington) of Athens and Brent (Jessica) Warnock of Galloway; sister, Debby (Lyons) Moore of Bellefonte, Kentucky; sister-in-law, Kathy Hoeffer (Robert Tornow) of Canal Winchester; brother-in-law, Phillip Scott Smith of Ponce de Leon, Florida; father-in-law, Paul (Carol) Smith of Daphne, Alabama; as well as many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, March 14, 2017, at Oliver-Cheek Funeral Home, 420 W. Main St., Ashville.
