Leroy Cook Truesdell, 78, of Laurelville, passed away on Feb. 17, 2017.
He was born on Nov. 13, 1938, in Columbus, to the late Clarence and Essie (Cook) Truesdell Sr.
He was a teacher at Franklin Furnace, Centralia and Logan City Schools for many years.
Leroy is survived by his wife, Carolyn (VanFossen) Truesdell; sons, Jay (Lennea) and Craig (Jennifer) Truesdell; daughter, Elizabeth (Ben) Richardson; and by grandchildren, Nickalaus, Lauren, Taylor, Zane, Henry, Bridgette and Samantha.
Memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Feb. 24, 2017, at the Wellman Funeral Home, Laurelville, with burial to follow in Green Summit Cemetery. Friends may call from 11 a.m. until the time of service at 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home in Laurelville.
