Harold Wayne Russell, 72, passed away Friday, Feb. 10, 2017, at Pickaway Manor.

He was born on Nov. 6, 1944, in Ashville, to the late Claude and Rena (Craig) Russell.

Harold served in the U.S. Army during Vietnam. He worked for Georgia Pacific as a machinist.

In addition to his parents, Harold was preceded in death by brothers, Romie, E. Claude “Tootie”, Kenneth, F.C. and Baker Russell; and sisters, Dorothy Frazier, Velma Jones and Ruth Hoover.

He is survived by his children, Wayne (Susan) Dwyer, Jacklyn (Jeremy) Creech, Kenneth (Toshua) Russell, Anthony Russell and their mother, Debra Russell; grandchildren, Bryan, Elizabeth and Zachary Dwyer, Brooklynn, Madalynn, Paiton, Hannah, Carley, Trace (Leah) and Austin Creech, Treyce, Alexa and Asher Russell; great-grandson, Braxton Creech; brother, Raymond Russell; sisters, Mabel (Weldon) Owens, Hazel Frazier, Peggy Miller, Margaret (Donald) Rader and Marie (Robert) Parry; and many extended family members.

Visitation will be held 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 14, 2017, and 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2017, at Defenbaugh-Wise-Schoedinger Funeral Home, 151 E. Main St., Circleville, where the funeral service will begin at 1 p.m. Wednesday. Interment to follow at Jackson Township Cemetery.
