Robert E. Morgan

Robert Eugene Morgan, 85, of Circleville, passed away Feb. 9, 2017, in Columbus.

He was born on Nov. 25, 1931, in Circleville, to Emmitt and Bessie (Dawson) Morgan.

Robert was retired from DuPont, where he was known as Rabbit.

He was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean War. He was also a member of the Elks, American Legion and past president of Homeowners Association for Graystone Condominiums.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brother and sister-in-law, Leo and Christine Morgan; sister and brother-in-law, Mary Kay (Ed) Hicks; son-in-law, Jack Brooks; niece, Marilyn Clark; nephews, Pat Hicks and Christopher Morgan; and by great-granddaughter, Megan Shaffer.

Robert is survived by his wife of 62 years, Beverly (Amann) Morgan; children, Vivian (Thomas) Tatman, Cheryl (Fred Farley) Brooks, Nancy (Nick) Pine, Michael (Sharon) Morgan and Candy (Mark) Mosley; 13 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and by two nephews, Larry Morgan and Kelly Hicks.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 13, 2017, at the Wellman Funeral Home with burial to follow in Forest Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
