Scioto Elementary School recently received a $7,500 grant from the Teays Valley Educational Foundation to be used to purchase 60 Chromebooks and two charging carts.
“Scioto Elementary is very excited to be able to add more Chromebooks to our building,” said Beth Dill, principal. “Our Chromebook carts are used daily. Our goal is to have two full sets of Chromebooks in grades three, four and five, and the grant from TVEF will complete that goal.”
Without the grant, Dill said the school would not be able to provide students with the daily technology interactions they receive in the classroom using Chromebooks.
“Thank you to TVEF for helping us to provide opportunities for our students to have interactive learning experiences,” she said.
