Jan. 11, 2017:

– Callers advised of a fight in an alley near a residence on Hayward Street. Officers were unable to locate anyone in the area.

– A 911 call from Ashville was transferred to the Pickaway County Sheriff’s Office.

– A caller in the 300 block of East High Street reported a suspicious person who appeared to be lurking around residences and vehicles. Officers were unable to locate the subject.

– Officers responded to a property damage accident on East Franklin at Pickaway Street.

– A resident on Cedar Heights Road reported a known subject hit him. A report was taken on a domestic dispute.

– A resident on Cedar Heights Road requested a report for telecommunications harassment.

– A caller reported a male and female fighting in the area of Atwater and Seyfert Avenue. Officers were unable to locate the subjects.

– An employee at Discount Grocery on South Pickaway Street reported a male subject stuffed food items down the front of his sweatpants and ran southbound on Pickaway Street. A report was taken on theft.

– A resident on East Union Street reported someone repeatedly jumps her fence to the back yard and is unlatching the privacy fence from the inside, allowing her dogs to get out. Information was obtained.

– A caller reported water was pouring into the basement of the Brooks Yates Center on South Pickaway Street and could be seen from the street. Officers made contact with the key holder to check on the issue.

– An employee at Kroger on Lancaster Pike reported two skateboarders had been advised to leave the property, but they were still there, riding in front of vehicles in the lot and digging for cigarette butts out of the ashtrays. Officers were unable to locate the subjects.

– An employee at Kroger on Lancaster Pike reported they had a shoplifter in custody that had been stealing from the store. The officer transported the juvenile back to his parent, and no report was taken by request.

– A caller reported a large black trash bag in the roadway between Marshall’s Auto Parts and Old Tarlton Pike that was causing a traffic problem. The garbage was removed from the roadway.

– City police and the Pickaway County Sheriff’s Office were advised of a domestic dispute on Atwater Avenue. The subjects were advised to stay away from each other.

– Officers responded to an activated alarm at Wyngate of Circleville on Northridge Road. The scene checked OK.

– A caller reported a vehicle driving recklessly on North Washington Street. All units were advised.

– Officers responded to a parking complaint in the 900 block of South Pickaway Street.

– A caller advised they had a firearm stolen in Circleville. A report was taken.

– An employee at the Berger Hospital emergency room reported a 9-month-old male had been bitten by the family dog. A report was taken.

– A caller reported a suspicious vehicle in the roadway on South Pickaway Street. Officers determined the vehicle was disabled but out of the roadway. The scene checked OK.

– A resident in the 300 block of Watt Street reported a known subject was being abusive to her. A report was taken on a domestic dispute.

– Officers responded to a parking complaint in the 900 block of South Pickaway Street.

– A resident in the 300 block of Clark Drive reported smoke behind her house that looked like it was coming from another residence. Officers were unable to locate any smoke in the area.

– A young female caller at Ohio Heights reported a known subject had been drinking all day and was scaring her and being mean to her and her mommy. A report was taken.

– Officers responded to a tree down over the roadway in the 900 block of North Court Street that caused two property damage accidents. The call was handled, and the tree was removed from the roadway.

– A caller in the 500 block of Tower Court advised a known subject was throwing items at him, including a chair. Both parties were verbally arguing while on the 911 call. Both parties were advised to be civil to one another.

– An employee at Kroger reported a theft in progress at the store. A report was taken.

– Officers responded to an activated alarm at Sherwin Williams on North Court Street. The scene checked OK.
