CIRCLEVILLE – Members of the Box65 scene support unit are reminding supporters that April is time to renew membership in the Kroger Community Rewards Program, which makes a donation to the organization each time a registered Kroger plus card is used at the store.

Box65 is a volunteer auxiliary unit of the Circleville Fire Department that assists firefighters and other safety forces by providing rest stations, hot and cold drinks and heating and cooling stations depending on the season to crews at emergency scenes. The unit supports not only the Circleville Fire Department but other departments throughout Pickaway County and the surrounding area as well.

There is no cost for using the program, and it does not affect Kroger fuel points. The program is good at all Kroger locations.

The organization number for Box65 is 88679. To sign up or renew your support, log onto www.krogercommunityrewards.com or visit the service desk at your local Kroger store.

According to Kroger, local schools, churches and other nonprofit organizations earn millions of dollars each year through Kroger Community Rewards. The program is designed to make fundraising easy by simply shopping at Kroger and swiping the plus card. All participants must re-enroll each year to continue earning rewards for their chosen organization.
