CIRCLEVILLE – Some good-natured teasing of retired sheriff Dwight Radcliff brought smiles to three local charities this week as they reaped the benefits of the second annual “celebrity roast” fundraiser hosted by the Pickaway Competitiveness Network.

Radcliff was on hand at Berger Hospital on Tuesday to deliver checks to the Ruth Neff D.A.R.E. Fund, Berger Hospice and the Leadership for Tomorrow Fund resulting from an auction held at the January event.

Each fund received about $2,600 at Tuesday’s presentation.

Radcliff was the second honoree for the annual Leadership Roast, which honored Stephen Gary of The Savings Bank at the inaugural event held in 2015.

Sereana Dresbach, event chair, said the event has become a fun and unique fundraiser for the Leadership for Tomorrow Fund and is expected to continue for several years to come.

The Leadership for Tomorrow Fund of the Pickaway Competitiveness Network is a function of the Pickaway County Community Foundation. Its programming efforts include the Pickaway Fellows program, the Board Candidate Pool and Networking Roundtables.

Information about the fund and its activities can be found at www.yourpccf.org. Donations for the program can be directed to the Pickaway County Community Foundation, Box 3, Circleville, Ohio 43113.
