March 24

– A resident in the 500 block of Gumm Place reported hearing sounds of yelling and hitting from a neighboring apartment and what sounded like a small caliber handgun discharge, but he was not sure. He advised a female then left the residence. Officer made contact with a male at the residence, who checked OK. A report was taken on a domestic dispute.

– A caller reported a large amount of glass in the intersection of South Washington and Walnut streets. An officer was able to get most of it cleaned up, and a message was left for the service department.

– A resident in the 400 block of South Pickaway Street reported a suspicious male behind the residence. Officers were unable to locate.

– A resident in the 8100 block of Trimmer Road reported someone had used his identity. He was referred to the Pickaway County Sheriff’s Office due to being out of jurisdiction.

– A resident in the 100 block of South Pickaway Street reported someone smeared mustard and sugar all over her front porch. A report was taken on criminal mischief.

– A caller reported a female in the lobby of Liggett, Rocklin & Associates on North Court Street who appeared to be under the influence and had a small child with her. The female left prior to the officer’s arrival and was located at Head Start. The female checked OK and advised she was tired. She was going to walk home and retrieve her vehicle later.

– A resident in the 100 block of Fairfield Blvd. reported his garage was broken into sometime overnight. A report was taken on burglary.

– A resident in the 400 block of North Pickaway Street reported receiving a text message from a person with a no-contact order in place. The subject was contacted, and she said she sent the text message prior to the no-contact order and it just went through. She was advised to make no further contact.

– A 911 caller reported an argument over a dog in the 100 block of West Water Street, and someone was threatening to shoot the dog. A second 911 call reported the argument may turn physical. Officers advised there was no domestic dispute at the residence, but it was a disorderly conduct situation. A female at the residence was advised of her conduct, and a report was taken on disorderly conduct.

– A resident in the 100 block of Caroline Court reported he was at work, but he believed there was an argument at the residence between his wife and son. Officer advised everything checked OK.

– A resident in the 800 block of South Scioto Street reported some kind of domestic dispute, possibly drug-related, in the area. Officers were unable to locate the subject vehicle.

– A resident in the 100 block of Logan Street reported a bag of trash lying in the roadway on South Pickaway Street between Town and Logan. The service department was advised.

– A resident in the 1200 block of Williams Drive requested to speak with an officer about an accident that occurred three months ago in which an arrangement was made between the parties. The caller advised they are now trying to get the money owed, and the other party is threatening them. The caller was advised it was a civil issue.

– A resident in the 200 block of East Mill Street reported someone had thrown an egg at her vehicle.

– An employee at Rural King on U.S. Route 23 requested to speak with an officer regarding a theft that had occurred earlier. A report was taken.

– A resident in the 100 block of Logan Street reported a male subject was harassing her. The female advised she would speak with her attorney the next day.

– Officers responded to an activated alarm at Short Stop on East Main Street. The building checked OK.

– A resident in the 400 block of North Scioto Street reported a known subject was threatening her. The officer determined no threats occurred, and the caller just needed to have some questions answered.

– A resident in the 200 block of South Pickaway Street reported a neighbor’s dog barking. The resident was advised of the complaint and the city ordinance regarding canines.

March 25

– An employee at Duke and Duchess on East Main Street reported a suspicious vehicle in the parking lot for about 20 minutes with a male and female inside. Officers made contact with the subjects, who advised they were on the phone attempting to locate a lost wallet. The subjects were advised to move along.

– A 911 caller reported a male wearing what appeared to be pajamas got out of a gray minivan on West Main Street near Liberty Pawn Shop and was checking the business doors. The male and the van were last seen in the area of Jobs One Stop on Island Road. Officers checked the area and were unable to locate.

– Officers responded to a property damage accident at PICCA on East Ohio Street.

– A caller in the 1700 block of Crossings Blvd. reported a suspicious call they had received the day before. A report was taken, and extra patrol was requested.

– An employee at McDonald’s on South Court Street reported a male subject in the dining area who appeared to be under the influence of something. The male left prior to officer’s arrival.

– A resident in the 1200 block of Williams Drive reported a neighbor screaming and calling them names. A report was taken on disorderly conduct, and both parties were advised.

– Officers responded as mutual aid for an injury accident on U.S. Route 23 northbound outside of the city.

– A caller requested extra patrol in the 200 block of West Water Street due to juveniles in the neighborhood who play loudly in the street, throw rocks from the railroad tracks into the street and have attempted to pull the stop sign out of the ground. Information was obtained.

– Officers responded to reports of a property damage accident on Mingo Street.

– A resident in the 100 block of Watt Street came to the police station to report his wife had spit in his face and destroyed his phone. Officers made contact with the other party, and a report was taken on a domestic dispute.

– Lori Pine of Williamsport was arrested on a warrant from Madison County at the Eagles on East Main Street and transported to state Route 104 and Route 56 for an exchange of custody.

– A caller reported a male subject on a Cub Cadet tractor had crossed Route 23 near Tim Horton’s on the tractor and was now at the business. Officers were unable to locate the subject, but employees at the restaurant advised he loaded up the mower on a trailer and left.

– Justin Radcliff was arrested in the 100 block of North Pickaway Street on an oustanding warrant from the Circleville Police Department.

– Officers performed a stand-by in the 100 block of Lewis Avenue while a resident retrieved her son’s property.

– John J. Kiser II was arrested on a warrant in the 300 block of North Court Street.

– A 911 caller reported the strong odor of smoke in the area of East Ohio Street and Half Avenue. Officer advised a resident was burning old documents, and he was advised to put out the fire.

– A resident in the 400 block of John Street reported an 80-year-old neighbor advised she was leaving and not coming back. A report was taken on a missing person.

– Lancaster Police requested officers make contact with a local resident whose vehicle was believed to have been involved in a hit-skip accident in Lancaster. Officers made contact and advised the owner to contact Lancaster PD.

– Officers responded to reports of a suspicious person in the 100 block of Logan Street. Officers were unable to locate.

– A resident in the 300 block of Town Street reported a known subject had kicked in the door at her residence and stolen a radio out of her vehicle. The subject and the caller were located at the residence, and a report was taken on disorderly conduct.

– A resident in the 200 block of Westwood Drive reported her vehicle had been stolen from the residence. The resident was advised the vehicle was currently impounded by the Lancaster Police Department. A report was taken on theft.

– A resident in the 400 block of Stella Avenue reported juveniles were shooting a BB gun at his shed. Officers spoke with the juveniles’ guardian, and they denied shooting at the shed but admitted to shooting the BB gun. They were advised of city ordinances.

– A resident in the 400 block of Stella Avenue reported she found a tool belonging to the city water department in the yard. An officer picked up the item and advised the water department they could retrieve the item in the morning.

– A resident in the 300 block of South Scioto Street reported her two teenage nephews were in a fist fight and both had injuries. The officer requested a squad to check the males, and a report was taken on disorderly conduct by fighting with charges pursued.

– A resident in the 400 block of South Pickaway Street requested extra patrol in her area and the 600 block of East Main Street due to suspicious activity.

– A resident in the 200 block of Huston Street reported a disturbance. Officers made contact with three people, and a report was taken on possession.

– A resident in the 100 block of East Main Street reported someone had gained access to her residence sometime during the day. A report was taken on burglary. The resident called back and advised she asked her ex-boyfriend if he had her dog, and a few minutes later someone dumped the dog off in front of her residence and left. A supplement was taken to the original report.

– A resident in the 100 block of Gale Court reported receiving a message from an unknown subject she felt was threatening in nature. The officer reported there was no harassment, and she was advised to contact her cell phone provider and have the web-based number blocked.

– A resident in the 500 block of Renick Avenue reported she and her husband were arguing and she was concerned it was going to escalate. Both parties calmed down, and a report was taken on a domestic dispute.
