March 20

– A resident in the 11000 block of Bulen Pierce Road, Lockbourne, reported someone entered both his vehicles and an unattached garage and stole numerous tools. A report was taken.

– Lloyd G. Garrett, 64, of Mt. Sterling, was arrested for possession of drugs – scheduled I and II following a two-vehicle accident on state Route 56 West at U.S. Route 22 West.

– A resident in the 11000 block of Dingus Road reported an unknown subject entered his attached garage and stole various tools. A report was taken on burglary.

– Stevie N. Skaggs, 32, of Ashville, was arrested in the 14000 block of state Route 104 following a domestic dispute.

– A deputy responded to Cherokee Drive, Circleville, on a complaint on a person.

– A deputy responded to Mackey Ford Wildlife Area on state Route 762, Lockbourne, on the report of two dead deer.

– A deputy responded with Harrison Township Fire and EMS to the 8000 block of Water Street, Darbyville. The subject was transported to the hospital.

– A deputy took a report on child custody at the Pickaway County Sheriff’s Office on Island Road.

– A deputy responded to a property dispute on Front Street, New Holland.

– A resident in the 15000 block of Blain Road, Mt. Sterling, reported vandalism at the property.

– A deputy responded with Harrison Township EMS to assist with a subject who had fallen. The subject refused further medical treatment at the scene.

– Lindsay Belford, 30, of Grove City, struck a deer while traveling on U.S. Route 23. No injuries were reported.

– Sherri Burns, 20, of Circleville, was cited for assured clear distance ahead when she struck a vehicle driven by Klee Underwood, 29, of Circleville, on U.S. Route 22. Subjects were treated for injuries.

– Lloyd Garrett, 64, of Mt. Sterling, was cited for OVI and failure to control when he struck a vehicle driven by Erin Birchfield, 50, of Vinton, on state Route 56.

– Charles Mundy, 19, of Ashville, advised he fell asleep while driving, running off the road and striking a utility pole on Ashville Pike. Subjects were treated for injuries.

March 21

– Cassandra N. Young, 34, of Williamsport, was arrested for breaking and entering, theft from the elderly and criminal trespass in the 19000 block of Five Points Pike, Williamsport. William R. Young, 37, of Williamsport, also was arrested at the scene for possession of drug abuse instruments. The incident began when deputies responded to reports of a suspicious vehicle on the caller’s property.

– Mark T. Hinkle, 26, of Ashville, was arrested for attempted theft, criminal damaging, criminal trespass and possession of criminal tools after a deputy responded to the 10000 block of state Route 762 East, Lockbourne, on reports of a person trying to steal a vehicle.

– Brandon C. Howard, 20, of Harrisburg, was arrested for assault after deputies responded to the Ameristop gas station in the 9000 block of U.S. Route 62, Orient, on reports from a Harrisburg Police Officer that a man with a gun in the business pushed the officer and fled the scene when confronted.

– A deputy responded to a complaint on a person in the 13000 block of Five Points Pike, Mt. Sterling.

– A deputy responded to an activated alarm in the 2000 block of state Route 674. Everything checked OK.

– A resident in the 9000 block of Independence Drive, Orient, reported harassment. A report was taken.

– A deputy responded to a complaint on a person in the 5000 block of Mill Street, Orient.

– A deputy responded to a dog bite complaint on South East Street, New Holland.

– A deputy responded to a neighbor dispute in the 200 block of South East Street, New Holland.

– Donald Huff, 59, of Frankfort, struck a deer while traveling on state Route 207. No injuries were reported.

– Amanda Peyton, 28, of Circleville, was cited for marked lanes when she reportedly crossed the center line on U.S. Route 23 and struck a vehicle driven by Lindsay Brokaw, 23, of Columbus.

March 22

– A caller reported a known suspect was trying to use a credit card that didn’t work in the 9000 block of U.S. Route 62, Orient, and he left the business without paying. A report was taken on misuse of a credit card.

– A resident in the 7000 block of Zane Trail Road reported someone entered his garage and removed several items. A report was taken on breaking and entering.

– A resident in the 9000 block of London Road, Orient, reported she received a form from the IRS about her taxes but she had not filed her taxes yet. A report was taken on identity theft.

– A resident in the 6000 block of Putnam Drive reported she was assaulted by her ex-boyfriend. A report was taken on assault.

– A deputy responded to reports of a fight in the 500 block of Yates Street, Williamsport.

– A deputy responded to a complaint on a person in the 23000 block of Huber Hitler Road, Circleville.

– A deputy responded to South Bloomfield on the report of found property. The property was retrieved, and the owner was located.

– Carrie VanHoose, 44, of Stoutsville, advised she was backing from a parking space in the Walmart parking lot and struck a vehicle driven by Tyrance Hayes, 37, of Blacklick. A report was taken on a private property accident.

– Brandon R. Faile, 19, of Orient, was arrested on a warrant from Circleville Municipal Court for failure to appear on the original charge of aggravated menacing.

March 23

– A deputy responded to a domestic dispute in the 6000 block of Putnam Drive, Circleville.

– A deputy responded to an activated alarm in the 20000 block of Mouser Road, New Holland. Everything checked OK.

– A deputy responded to an activated alarm in the 14000 block of Walnut Creek Pike, Ashville. Everything checked OK.

– A deputy took a report on a child custody complaint at the Pickaway County Sheriff’s Office on Island Road.

– A deputy responded to a complaint on a person in the 13000 block of Era Road, Mt. Sterling.

– A deputy responded to a domestic dispute on Circle Avenue, New Holland.

– Susan Clifton, 60, of Circleville, struck a deer while traveling on Commercial Point Road. No injuries were reported.

– Norval Shepard, 79, of Circleville, advised he did not see a vehicle on U.S. Route 22 driven by Carri Howell, 39, of Amanda, and he turned in front of the vehicle, causing a crash.

– Courtney Combs, 24, of Chillicothe, advised a vehicle in front of her on U.S. Route 23 slowed suddenly and she was unable to change lanes, going off the road and striking a guardrail.

– An unknown vehicle went off the side of the roadway on London Road, striking a chain link fence. A report was taken on a hit-skip accident.

– Elizabeth A. Jackson, 42, of Columbus, was arrested on a warrant from Pickaway County Common Pleas Court for a violation of probation on the original charge of breaking and entering and theft.

– Ashley M. Tiller, 26, of Columbus, was arrested on a warrant from Pickaway County Common Pleas Court for a violation of probation on the original charge of complicity to breaking and entering and complicity to theft.
