Barbara Jane Cummins, 88, of Ashville, passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, Dec. 31, 2015.
She was born Aug. 30, 1927, at Crestline, daughter of the late Gordan and Bonita (Likens) Jenkins.
She was preceded in death by her parents; loving husband, Richard; and son, Steven.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Laura and Roger Craven of Grove City; daughter-in-law, Jill Cummins; four grandchildren, Barry (Sheena), Brandi, Evan and Caitlin; and three great-grandchildren.
Barbara was a registered nurse for over 50 years and spent many years working at Berger Hospital. She was an officer and secretary-treasurer of Cummins Electric for many years and a member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church, Lockbourne, DAR and American Legion, Ashville.
Graveside services will be held 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 4, 2016, at the Harrison Twp. Cemetery, South Bloomfield. Pastor Jeffrey Wise and Pastor Larry Baker will officiate.
In lieu of flowers the family request contributions in Barbara’s memory be made to Berger Hospice, 1280 N. Court St., Circleville, Ohio 43113.
