December 21

– An employee of Roundtown Taxi reported an unknown person broke the back window of her work vehicle in the 2100 block of Arapaho Drive. A report was taken on vandalism.

– An employee at Bubba’s Corner on U.S. Route 62 reported receiving three checks that were forged. A report was taken on forgery.

– A deputy responded to reports of telephone harassment in the 500 block of Woodview Court. No charges were filed.

– A resident in the 12700 block of Lockbourne Eastern Road reported problems with a company he had hired to do some work. A report was taken.

– A resident in the 10600 block of state Route 762, Lockbourne, reported problems with an ex-boyfriend.

– A deputy responded to reports of a vehicle with no trailer lights on state Route 762. The vehicle and trailer were towed from the scene.

– A deputy responded to a child custody dispute in the 12400 block of Darby Creek Road.

– A resident in the 1100 block of South Washington Street, Circleville, reported receiving unwanted text messages from an ex-boyfriend. A report was taken on harassment.

– Anthony Sturgell, age 20, of Circleville, advised he was traveling westbound on Tarlton Road and lost control of his vehicle due to the wet roads and ran off the side of the road, striking a utility pole. Subjects were treated for injuries.

– Corinne Raypholtz, age 20, of Orient, was cited for failure to yield when she turned into the path of a vehicle driven by Larry McConahay, age 28, of Chillicothe, on U.S. Route 62. Subjects were treated for injuries.

– Brighton Fruehling, age 29, of Millersburg, was cited for assured clear distance ahead when he struck a vehicle on U.S. Route 23 driven by Jared Cyrus, age 44, of Chillicothe. Subjects were treated for injuries.

– Danny L. Boysel was arrested on an indictment for the original charge of non-support of dependents.

– Brandon R. Faile was arrested for a violation of probation for original charge of aggravated menacing.

– Mindy L. Smith was arrested on a original charge of criminal trespassing.

December 22

– A caller reported seeing two males at a residence in the 15100 block of Douglas Road, Mt. Sterling who fled in a vehicle. Deputies determined nothing was removed from the residence, and a report was taken on a burglary.

– A resident in the 9300 block of Magnolia Way, Orient, reported someone cut the wire on his Christmas lights. A report was taken on criminal damaging.

– Deputies responded to reports of an assault in the 1400 block of South Court Street. No charges were filed.

– Deputies responded to a domestic dispute in the 20700 block of Ringgold Southern Road. No charges were filed.

– A citation was issued to a driver with an expired license and registration during a traffic stop on Canal Road following a complaint on a person. The female passenger had an active warrant out of Reynoldsburg and was released to the Reynoldsburg Police Department.

– Deputies responded to a child custody dispute in the 11600 block of Thrailkill Road.

– Deputies responded to a domestic dispute in the 10600 block of state Route 762, Lockbourne.

– Penny Spriggs, age 63, of Lucasville, was traveling northbound on U.S. Route 23 when she struck a vehicle in the rear driven by Darin Law, age 50, of Greenup, Kentucky. Subjects were treated for injuries.

– Lester Smith, age 78, of Orient, was traveling southbound on state Route 104 when he approached a lane closure and applied the brakes, causing his vehicle to go off the road. Subjects were treated for injuries.

– Greg Hatfield, age 45, of Williamsport, was backing his vehicle on Water Street in Williamsport when he struck a parked vehicle owned by William Hufford. No injuries were reported.

– Tecumseh Smith was arrested for original charge of failure to pay child support.

– Jacqueline M. Haller was arrested for failure to appear for original charge of possession of drug instruments.

– Chad Mumaw was arrested on an indictment for original charge of theft from the elderly.

December 23

– A resident in the 18000 block of U.S. Route 23 reported a package was taken from her front porch. A report was taken on a theft.

– A resident in the 7700 block of Tarlton Road reported medication had been taken from his residence. A report was taken on a theft.

– Deputies responded to a domestic dispute in the 10600 block of state Route 762. No charges were filed.

– Deputies responded to a domestic dispute on U.S. Route 22 at State Route 207. The vehicle reported involved in the dispute was not located.

– Deputies responded to a domestic dispute in the 5800 block of Mattox Circle, Orient. No charges were filed.

– Delores Snyder, age 67, of Orient, advised she was traveling northbound on state Route 104 when a vehicle backed out of a driveway and struck her vehicle. The vehicle then left the scene. A report was taken on a hit-skip accident.

– Tracy Wolf, age 42, of Chillicothe, advised she was traveling westbound on Airbase Road and, due to the heavy rain, was unable to see an upcoming curve and drove off the side of the road. No injuries were reported.

– Meranda M. Vangundy was arrested for original charge of non-support of dependents.

– Chasity Cary was arrested for original charge of non-support of dependents.

– Chad E. Hartshorn was arrested for original charge of non-support of dependents.
