Louise Nagle Ballou, 82, of Hide-A-Way Hills, passed away Dec. 2, 2015. She was born June 2, 1933.

Louise is survived by her loving husband, Bruce Ballou; and her children, Linda Benson, Nancy (Brian) Connor, Andy (Ilene) Nagle and Alice (Jay) Prout; grandchildren, Sarah (Brett) Hatcher, Lisa (Peter) Meuse, William, Amy, Michael and Molly Connor, Jordan and Jake Nagle, Jessica (Brent) Plummer and Kelly Milliser; great-grandchildren, Madelyn, Emmy and Charlotte Meuse, Cal Hatcher and Ryan Plummer; and by many nieces and nephews that loved her dearly.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Samuel L. and Alice J. Cotter; first husband, William Nagle; and by sister, Jeanine Trautman.

Louise and Bill raised their family in Bexley. They owned and operated Thompson Electronics. Thanks to her many lifelong friends from Bexley and the friends she made after her retirement to Hide-A-Way Hills; they meant the world to her. She had loving memories of her sister-in-law, Jane Nagle, who are together again playing scrabble “high above the chimney tops.”

Private memorial service and scattering of ashes will take place at Chapel in the Pines at Hide-A-Way Hills in the spring. Family suggests memorial gifts to charity of your choice.
