Mary Elizabeth Williamson, age 94, of Mt. Sterling, died Monday, Nov. 2, 2015, in Four Seasons of Washington Court House.

She was born Nov. 30, 1920, in Mt. Sterling.

Mary was a volunteer for Meals on Wheels and the Madison County Hospital. She worked numerous years at the Mt. Sterling Dairy Freeze.

She was preceded in death by husband, Richard P. Williamson; parents, Nellie and Frank Oglesbee; brother, Frank Oglesbee; and sisters, Evelyn Ramey and Arnetta Leisure.

She is survived by son, Richard L. (Linda) Williamson; daughter, Sue (Mike) Emmons; six grandchildren, Lisa Williamson of Mt. Sterling, Beth Ballenger of Hilliard, Jennifer (Bill) Hart of Newport, Anna (Joe) Henry of Newport, Kacy Beauman of Mt. Sterling and Joni (David) Gunzburger of London, England; great-grandchildren, Siobann (Chris) Stoughton, Drew Ballenger, Kirstin, Clayton and Trenton Hart, Haylee and Lyla Henry and Elsie Gunzburger; and great-great-grandchildren, Allie, Sam and Natalie Stoughton and John Ballenger.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 4, 2015, at the Porter-Tidd Funeral Home, Mt. Sterling, Rev. Dortha Ross officiating, with the interment following in Pleasant Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to time of service beginning noon on Wednesday.

In lieu of flowers, family suggest memorial contributions be made to Hospice of Fayette County.
