OHIO – A east of Chicago pizza owner says he may have gone to far with his recent billboard that says, “fat people are harder to kidnap.”

Local owner Jeremy Clemetson says that the comical billboards six months ago are attracting more customers in a statement from cleveland19.com.

The recent billboard says “fat people are harder to kidnap.” and it had gotten a bit of pushback since it was posted three weeks ago.

January is national human trafficking awareness month, so to some making fun of kidnapping is a bad thing.

According to the facebook group the pizza place has had signs that have said, “Legalize marinara”, “Our pizza is deep as potholes”, “Free box with every pizza, Now Hiring Must Show Up, If not there in 30 minutes please move closer.”

The owner told Sciotopost that the advertising is working, that the edgy saying get attention and thats what advertisement is supposed to. When I asked him about the negative responses he said, “Im not trying to offend anyone im just a funny guy and I enjoy being entertaining and feeding people pizza. They are jokes and I feel most of the community enjoys them”
