On 12-11-2019 at 0751 hours, this unit was dispatched to Canal Road on the report of a vandalized vehicle. This unit arrived on scene and met with the victim who advised she woke up this morning to find all four tires of her vehicle were flat. Victim is unsure as to the time of when the tires were damaged. Upon investigation, a puncture site was discovered on the front right tire. She believes her ex-boyfriend, was the one that did it, but does not have any physical evidence proving that he did it. This unit took another report regarding a different incident from the same reportee. Nothing further to report on this incident at this time.

On 12-11-2019 at 0914 hours, I was dispatched to North Main Street to meet with South Central Power about theft of power from the above residence. This unit arrived on scene and met with South Central Representative who advised the power at the residence was shut off remotely but power was still going to the residence. Representative and I went to the meter and he pulled it down and we were able to see where someone had got into the meter and broke the clips on the inside. South Central advised a powerline team would be out later in the day to disconnect the power from the lines themselves, preventing the residents from turning the power back on.

On 11 December 2019 at 1150 Hours, this Unit responded to the area of Ringgold Northern Rd and South Bloomfield Royalton Road on a cow in the roadway. I located two males that had a tripod set up in the roadway with a surveying equipment that included a total station in the roadway. They advised no cattle had been out and they had been there for several hours.

On 12-11-19 this unit met with the victim at the Sheriff’s Office. The victim had been speaking to a female over text messages. She then told the victim that she was making a deposit into his bank account in the amount of $3500.00. The victim was then to go buy gift cards and send the female a copy of the cards. The victim sent $3400.00 to the female. He was then told that the check that was deposited into his account was not valid.

On 11 December 2019 at 1413 hours, this Unit responded to the Bulen Pierce Road on a report of a suspicious person/vehicle. Upon arrival I made contact with Compaintiff. She advised a black Jeep Wrangler pulled back her driveway and was sitting in front of her home. She advised it was occupied by two black males wearing black hooded sweatshirts with the hood pulled up. She advised she went out and talked with them and they asked her if she recently had work done on her home and she said yes. They told her that her insurance company sent them out to inspect the home and when she asked for paperwork the became belligerent with her and told her that they would just tell her insurance company that she was uncooperative. Then left the driveway in an unknown direction. She did get a license plate number of GYR1382 that appears to be an incorrect registration that returns on a 2010 Pontiac. She advised she called her insurance company, USAA, and they told her that they had sent nobody out to inspect her home.

On December 11, 2019 about 1506 hrs, this unit responded to S. Main St. on a report of a vehicle being broke into. Contact was made with the reporter/victim, at which he stated that sometime between 1500 hrs yesterdays date and 1500 hrs todays date, unknown person(s) gained entry into his unlocked vehicle that was parked in the side yard. He noticed items from the vehicle laying on the ground. Upon checking, he noticed that his vehicle had been broke into. He advised that id didn’t appear that anything was taken from the vehicle.

On December 11, 2019 about 1854 hrs, this unit responded to US 62 on a complaint on a person. It was advised a male that had been previously told not to return has returned to the property. Upon arrival, this unit observed a male, identified as Steven J. Nicholakis standing at the side porch speaking to a female identified as the resident and mother of Steven’s son..
Due to Steven showing up after being told not to return, Homeowner advised this unit he wanted Steven arrested for trespass. This unit took Steven into custody and was placed in handcuffs behind his back. Steven was transported to the Pickaway County Jail.
