Pickaway County Commissioners Declare State of Emergency

PICKAWAY – Pickaway Commissioners today March 31, 2020 declared a state of emergency.


According to Pickaway County Commissioner President Harold Henson said that the vote was necessary to step forward in the county’s response to COVID-19 Pandemic.

“Two weeks ago, the county began transitioning to emergency operations, focusing our resources, and support we need to fight this pandemic is available, to ensure the safety of our employees and the public.”

Pickaway Commissioners said that the offices will remain open, Commissioners encourage residents to defer non-essential visits to county offices whenever possible. Each office has a online presence and can conduct substantial business by telephone and email.
