CIRCLEVILLE –

Although many residents of Circleville are sad to see the former Clifton Motor Sales building and location demolished, the Scioto Post can confirm that bids are already being tendered for the construction of one of America’s hottest restaurant establishments. In a communication with Panda Express, their marketing team has confirmed that 1395 S. Court Street, Circleville Ohio will be the location for the Glendale California restaurant chain.

Started in 1973 as Panda Inn and founded by Andrew Cherng, the location began to grow beyond its initial restaurant in the early 1980’s thanks to the help of then-coach at the UCLA Basketball program, Terry Donahue and his brother. The fast casual chain as restaurant now boasts over 2,000 stores in the US and abroad in locations such as Mexico, South Korea, and the UAE.

Bidding for the project was to be submitted by March the 19th, and a spokesperson for Panda Express has stated that the goal is for a September or October 2018 launch of the restaurant.
