ODNR Having a Naming Contest for a Mated Pair of Peregrine Falcons with Eggs!

LIMA – Ohio Division of wildlife is having a naming contest for a pair of falcons that are nested in a Chase Bank Building in Lima, Ohio.



The Pair is currently incubating four eggs, this is above the average of the normal two egg average Peregrine falcons mate for life and often come back to the same nesting areas.

The female can be identified by the bands on her left leg. She has a black band over a green band and the label 22 over BR, respectively.

Voting for names is open until May 1, 2020.
