Hardin County OH- On Wednesday morning of the 27th of November, 2019 a Deputy from the Hardin Co. Sheriff’s Office initiated a traffic stop on US Rt 68 north of Kenton for a traffic violation. Upon making contact with the male occupant/driver from Michigan the Deputy observed signs of illegal narcotics in the vehicle. The deputy conducted a roadside investigation and discovered over 30 pounds of marijuana along with hash, meth amphetamines and numerous edible marijuana products. The driver was arrested and the vehicle impounded for further investigation. The driver was incarcerated at the Multi County Correctional Center in Marion and the investigation continues. The Sheriff’s Office is being assisted by the Hardin County Prosecutor’s Office in this investigation.
