Meet the New Circleville Council

CIRCLEVILLE – January 2, 2018 Circleville City Council started off the new year with four new members to the council. “This is a exciting time for these folks, we welcome them and wish the new committee best of luck, said Barry Keller.  Julie Strawser said,”I also welcome the new Councilmen and look forward to working with them.”  Tom Spring alsoacknowledged the new member with the following statement, “I also extend my warm welcome to Todd Brady, Michelle Blanton, Sheri Theis, and Katie Logan Hedges.  Its a exciting time to have a majority Council to be new.  I look forward to working with each and every one of you.  I hope you will ask questions and weigh in on topics, i think we are strongest when we are all involved.”

All the new members of Council addressed the council with the following words.

“I just want to be brief and say I’m happy to be here for the welcome and i feel we will do some great things this year and look forward to it, said Katie Logan Hedges.

“I would like to thank the City of Circleville for the opportunity to sit here.  I look forward to the next two years and working with everyone on Council and Administration.  Congratulations to all of us for surviving the election season!  I would like to think the Vineyard Church for the event they had on New Year Eve.  It was cold but there was a decent turnout.  I want to remind everyone to be careful in the cold and make sure you bundle up outside.  Please check on your neighbors and make sure they have everything they need because they may not be able to get out,” said Michelle Blanton.

“I would like to thank all the voters for their support.  I also would like to thank the Council members that encouraged me to run.  I’m really looking forward to working am actually a little anxious as usual,” said Todd Brady.

“I just like to said some of the same things, happy to be here and happy to have the opportunity to serve the people of Circleville, said Sheri Theis.
