OHIO – I dont know how many Ohioian have ever seen the Northern Lights or Aurora Borealis before, this is something I have witness a few times growing up and Maine and it is always a exciting time for us to experience such a amazing sight.

According to NOAA.gov the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration center they are predicting due to a solar flare from the sun with coronal mass execution causing a geomagnetic storm tonight to tomorrow morning that we may be able to see the solar lights. According to the map prediction most likely the northern part of Ohio will be able to see the storm but we are just below that line and are still possible.

What are the Northern Lights? Its when electronically charge particles charge toward the earth these combine with air molecules and light up like a florescent bulb creating a solar beams that are in forms of rays, loops, waves, and can be pink or green color.
