HIGHAND – A man was pronounced dead at the scene of a crash that happened around 9 am this morning (4-12-20) on New Market Road at the intersection of Concord Road in Highland County.

According to authorities 65-year-old Kelly Knauff was driving northbound on Concord road and failed to yield at the stop sign and drove into traffic. A 20 year old driver of a Trailblazer SUV was heading Eastbound on Concord Road and Collided with Knauff in the intersection. Concord road does not stop at that intersection so it was a high speed crash. Authorities said that Knauff was pronounced dead at the scene and reported that he was not wearing his seatbelt at the time of the crash.

Troopers from Ohio State Highway Patrol are investigating.
