LONDON – British actor Ian Holms has died at age 88, according to a statemtent from his agent.
Holms had a long movie career before the lord of the ring services where he played Blibo Baggins. He also played in Aliens, The fifth Element, The Aviator, and Chariots of fire where he was nominated for an Oscar.
Holms was born in Essex in southern England in 1931. British Academy of Film and Television tweeted its respects
