Laurelville OH- The Laurelville Volunteer Fire Department announced via Facebook the following.
The local event that is sponsored by Laurelville Volunteer Fire Department 2020 marks the 97th year for the event. The event pays for needed equipment like, fire hoses, portable pumps, turnout gear and helmets for the volunteer group, but now it will be cancelled.
“Due to the covid-19 virus we are canceling the Fireman’s Old Time festival scheduled for June 3-6, 2020. We do not want to expose our great friends that attend the festival year after year to this deadly virus. Hope to see you all in 2021.”
