CIRCLEVILLE – The Knights of Columbus recently made a generous donation to the Pickaway County Board of Developmental Disabilities through the fundraising efforts of the Knights of Columbus “Measure-Up Campaign”.

“Although the annual “Measure Up Campaign” fell short of its goal due to pandemic challenges, the local Knights of Columbus 5297 generously approved additional donation dollars from their treasury to ensure that their donations matched similar amounts as in the past to Pickaway County Board of DD,” said Pickaway County Board of Developmental Disabilities

The Measure-Up Campaign is an annual fundraising effort that raises approximately $370,000 for over 322 statewide and local caring agencies that provide a variety of training and support programs to people living with developmental disabilities.

The donation made by the local Knights of Columbus is used locally based on the needs of people and families served by PCBDD. Covering the cost of medications, family hardship, and assistance for persons to avoid homelessness are just a few examples of how your donation was used in the past year.
