CHILLICOTHE – One of Chillicothe’s most well known events The Feast of the Flowering Moon, that celebrates the Native American Culture says that they are moving forward to hosting a 2021 festival.
Governor Dewine last week said that he would allow events like festivals to occur this year with guidance. Most groups are not moving forward with planning events, even though some of that guidance has not been released.
Feast of the Flowering moon canceled last year does the 2020 COVID pandemic.
The event occurs on the weekend of May 22-24 in Historic Downtown Chillicothe and is one of the first festivals in Ohio.
According to a Facebook post on the festival’s website, “We are looking forward to holding the festival this year! Vendor applications are available through our website. Queen & Princess pageant information will be coming soon! Mark your calendars – May 28th – 30th. http://feastofthefloweringmoon.org/
