HOCKING – A volunteer department in Union Furnace Ohio is announcing the loss of their fire chief.
According to the fire department facebook Chief Larry Thrush was lost last night when he passed away suddenly.
“There are just no words to describe the depth of this loss. He was a great man, chief, friend, husband and father. He has been a major part of our department and community for many years and he will be greatly missed by all,” said the department on Facebook.
Starr Twp. Volunteer department quickly put up the loss emblem on their facebook and multiple counties are now changing their facebook profiles to match.
