Deputies responded to a SR 56 address for a theft complaint. The victim told deputies that someone had stolen the catalytic converter from their vehicle.—–

Deputies responded to an unruly juvenile complaint at a West Logan address. After locating the juvenile, deputies determined that the juvenile needed evaluated at HVCH. HCEMS transported.—–

Deputies investigated a minor crash after a suspect fleeing deputies in Carbon Hill struck a passing vehicle with their tire, causing minor damage.—–

Deputies received a report of an alleged sexual assault. After speaking with the survivor, deputies learned that the assault likely took place in Columbus or Fayette County. The report was forwarded to both jurisdictions.—–

Deputies responded to a Union Rd. residence for a burglary complaint. The victim told deputies that her estranged husband had gained access to the attached garage and attempted to gain entry to the residence. Deputies located the suspect, lyman W. Lincoln, 64, Laurelville and after investigation, deputies arrested and charged Lincoln with Burglary and transported him to the SEORJ.—–

Deputies responded to a Clapper Hollow Rd. residence for a breaking and entering complaint. The complainant told deputies that a camper had been entered and several firearms stolen. The case remains under investigation.—–

Deputies responded to a suicidal male on the SR 595 overpass. After a short while, deputies were able to talk the person into going to the hospital. Deputies transported to HVCH.—–

Deputies conducted a traffic stop on E. Front St. for driving with no lights. After making contact with the driver, Phillip l. Guess, 33, Logan, a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage was noticed. Guess was given field sobriety testing with poor results. Guess was arrested and charged with OVI after testing 0.154 on the breathalyzer.—–

A SR 93 resident came to the Sheriff’s Office to file a report of unauthorized use of a credit card. The victim told deputies that the credit card had been used to make purchases in Minnesota and California.—–

Deputies responded to a domestic violence complaint at a Stump Run Rd. residence. After investigation, deputies arrested Phillip L. McNichols, 45, Laurelville. McNichols was charged with Domestic Violence and Assault and transported to the SEORJ.—–

Deputies responded to a crash on Laurel Run Rd. at 11:33 A.M. in which a vehicle being driven by Ryan D. Turner, 19, Logan lost control of his vehicle and drove through a natural gas transmission pipeline. Starr Twp. Volunteer Fire Department responded. OSHP Troopers responded and took the crash report. Laurel Run Rd. was closed due to the natural gas until 1:30 P.M when Columbia Gas was able to shut off the transmission line and declare the area safe.—–

Deputies took a report from an individual who told deputies that they had received a phone call claiming that they were an investigator and gave the Prosecutor’s phone number. No arrest warrants could be located and no one by that name is employed by the Prosecutor’s Office as an investigator.—–

Deputies responded to a Scenic Dr. residence for a theft complaint. The complainant told deputies that they believed that a package had been delivered to a neighbor by mistake and they deny it. Deputies spoke with all the parties and did not locate the package.—–

The Dog Warden investigated two incidents of dogs at large at a Vickers Rd. residence. After investigation, charges on two individuals were forwarded to the Prosecutor’s Office.—–

Deputies responded to a Chieftain Dr. residence for a theft complaint. The victim told deputies that someone had entered their vehicle and had stolen a firearm.
