Hocking County OH- According to the Hocking County Sheriff’s Office, 48 year old Mark Peoples who escaped from the Star Correctional Facility in Nelsonville on 3/27/2020, has been captured.
We have confirmed with the Hocking County Sheriff’s Office that a Hocking County Sheriff’s Deputy was able to detain Mr. Peoples and transport him to the SouthEastern Ohio Regional Jail without further incident. Mark Peoples is being charged with one count of Escape.
