HOCKING – Effective Monday, March 16th, 2020, by order of Hocking County Sheriff Lanny E. North, the Hocking County Courthouse and Hall of Justice are hereby CLOSED to the public.
Sheriff North made this very difficult decision with input from the Hocking County Health Commissioner, Doug Fisher, Hocking County Common Pleas Court Judge, John Wallace, Hocking County Juvenile Probate Court Judge, Jonah Saving and Hocking County Municipal Court Judge, Frederick Moses.
Hocking County Agency heads will meet this week to determine best practices to minimize the effects this has on the public.
