CIRCLEVILLE – HGTV is looking for a U.S. town that needs a total makeover for a new show and people in Circleville are entering.
Is your hometown rich in history but could use some freshening up? HGTV is making a new series called, “Home Town.” That aims at remaking small historical hometown areas for the show.
The Napiers who are the stars of the show have a heart for small-town living and a passion for reviving historical landmark buildings. On the show the couple bring beauty to the area and to the hearts of the people who live there.
“I think the trend toward finding a simpler life is happening in small towns everywhere,” said Erin. “We want these families to feel like they are truly at home and to feel it in their heart when they walk in the door.”
To find the most update-worthy small towns the Napiers are reaching out to viewers. Anyone who’s hometown meets the requirements can enter a submission to be considered for the show.
In order to be considered for the show, a small town must meet the following requirements.
- The township must have a population of fewer than 40,000 residents.
- The town should contain buildings with outstanding architecture that would benefit from revitalization.
- The location ought to include a Main Street area that is in desperate need of a makeover.
If your hometown meets these criteria, you can submit photos and videos on the official submission page. HGTV recommends entering images that display areas of your town that need renovating and an explanation of why you love it.

• A tour around town—the places that need help and the people who love this town.
• Anywhere your town needs love and what you love about it.
