PICKAWAY – The Teays Valley Educational Foundation awarded Teays Valley East Middle School sixth grade teacher Ashley Perry a $1,500 grant. This grant will provide classroom libraries for the sixth grade students that will offer books of all reading levels.
“This grant will help jumpstart sixth grade classroom libraries at Teays Valley East. Students will have access to books from all reading levels, genres and areas of interest,” Perry said. “I am so excited to see my students dive into new titles and ultimately become better readers.”
